What are some cases of wrestlers who were not involved in a major angle, but they did have a minor role in it? Steve Doll and Mike Enos being in the ring when Scott Hall showed up on Nitro would be an example.

Batista had a minor feud with HBK, but this segued into a much bigger feud HBK had with Jericho, where Jericho accused HBK of playing possum and pretending to be hurt to beat Batista in their match, and Shawn got annoyed with him persisting with it.

Of course, Shawn WAS faking it, something Jericho was correct about all along, but Jericho was the heel due to obviously taking it entirely too far. In either case, Batista, and by I guess extension Flair, were major components of a feud they didn't take part in, personally.
