Any possibility that 90s Ninja Spider-Man Deadpool shows up?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Probably a rights thing but they couldn't use "welcome to die" or any other classic arcade soundbites for the Motendo episode. Didn't stop it being a fun story. I was kind of hoping for a parody of the famous Kitty "Charles Xavier is a jerk" page only for Jubilee to say that about Magneto for cancelling a holiday for the team due to her birthday. I liked the use Abcissca (voiced by the original Jublie VA) as a beat model showing how good Jubilee can potentially be when she gets going. Relationship upgrade for her and Sunspot too as they make out upon escaping.
Rogue/Magneto/Remmy triangle continues with Remmy offering Rogue some coffee, only to find Magneto already gave her some
Lifedeath kicks off with Storm and Forge trying to restore Ororo's powers and their partnership hits a snag when Forge's connection with the power dampening collars comes to light, then The Adversary starts to cook 'em

Lifedeath kicks off with Storm and Forge trying to restore Ororo's powers and their partnership hits a snag when Forge's connection with the power dampening collars comes to light, then The Adversary starts to cook 'em I just don’t get this show. Unless they completely changed the character’s comic book origins, Abcissca was just an alternate timeline version of Jubilee. The actress turned down the opportunity to return as Jubilee because she didn’t feel comfortable voicing an Asian character, only to return as and voice an alternate version of the same Asian character? Secondly, I don’t care if it’s from the comic or not, (As defenders will use as defense of the story) this Rogue/Magneto stuff needs to just end already. In the comics, Rogue never went between Gambit and Magneto at the same time. Her main time with Magneto in the comics was in alternate timelines or during periods when she was on the outs with Gambit. This cartoon version of Rogue just comes off as a tease and a sneak who won’t just tell Gambit what’s going on. Speaking of relationships, what’s up with this Jubilee/Sunspot relationship? You have people online defending the show from people complaining by saying what’s happening on the show has happened in the comics. Rogue/Magneto, Scott/Goblin Queen, etc. Yet this Jubilee/Sunspot relationship has never been a thing in the comics. Sunspot is almost a whole generation before Jubilee. As far as staying true to the comic, I believe Jubilee’s only had two romantic relationships, with Synch and Chamber. If they want to adapt from the comic so much couldn’t they have just used one of those two characters in place of Sunspot?

Sucks that they're {Spoiler}{Spoiler}hinting Scott and the real Jean are going through a divorce because of episode three, and that we didn't even get any screen time at all for the pair of them because of embassy duty. I enjoyed what there was of Lifedeath but it could have just been a two minute post credit sequence or something, not a whole ten minutes stitched on to an episode that under ran.

Yeah, I avoid a lot of Marvel comics these days because of all the romantic relationship drama most of the writers seem to insist on. Now I have to watch a Marvel cartoon that features more romantic relationship drama. Can any comic media just have couples like Peter/MJ, Rogue/Gambit, Scott/Jean, Bruce/Selina, etc. just be happy and not arguing or breaking up or being cheated on all the time? The romantic relationships is what made me such a comic book fan decades ago. I don’t want to be stressed out about it.

It's magic, I don't have to explain it! </Dan Quesada>

Ok, those deeper into comic lore than me, what the heck was that owl demon? Rob explains it here. This show is doing alot of weird mixing of so many stories from vastly different eras that nothing feels like it is allowed to breath I mean they just blew threw X-men inferno in a single episode.

Wait... apart from MJ and Peter when have any of those relationships been stable for any length of time? Rogue/Gambit with his ex wife, them mot being able to touch, his dark secrets coming out, both of them leaving the twam on their own for stretches of time. Scott/Jean her death, Maddie, the whole Inferno, Psylocke trying to get with him, then he died then Emma Frost. Bruce/Selina... Apart from MJ/Peter and the Richards' these relationships always had a ton of drama all the time

Apart from MJ/Peter and the Richards' these relationships always had a ton of drama all the time Even MJ/Peter is chalk full of drama. Maybe not break ups but all sorts of relationship crap even before the deal with the devil. Honestly, relationship drama and X-Men is about as common as aliens and bigoted humans in the comics. So everything we've seen this season is about par for course. As for Jubilee and Roberto getting together, I think they make a cute couple to be honest. Not like she has many memorable suitors in the comics anyways.

Wait... apart from MJ and Peter when have any of those relationships been stable for any length of time? Rogue/Gambit with his ex wife, them mot being able to touch, his dark secrets coming out, both of them leaving the twam on their own for stretches of time. Scott/Jean her death, Maddie, the whole Inferno, Psylocke trying to get with him, then he died then Emma Frost. Bruce/Selina... Apart from MJ/Peter and the Richards' these relationships always had a ton of drama all the time Even MJ/Peter is chalk full of drama. Maybe not break ups but all sorts of relationship crap even before the deal with the devil. Prior to OMD, what happened with Peter and MJ was just the usual stuff you get with wives struggling to cope with the dangerous occupations of their husbands, and MJ always overcame that like clockwork. The biggest scare was post-clone saga with the trial separation, but they got fixed also. Peter and MJ spent most of their years together pretty happy, so that when drama happened it meant something. In most other universes Marvel publish with Peter, the marriage got better and better once they were allowed to move past all the drama and raise kids together. There was some tension in the newspaper strips at one point, but over time the writers also chose to just let them be happy since nobody was reading those strips anyway, they got more relevant and a nice 'retreat' from the post-OMD shenanigans after the Mephisto deal. So yeah, when people talk about how great Peter and MJ were together, it's no exaggeration or rose-tinted nostalgia. It really was the most stable and popular pairing Marvel ever had besides The Richards. As you say, other than the separation, the two rarely broke up before OMD, and always worked out their problems. And despite all the crap that went on in King's run and Gotham War, DC's trick with Bruce and Selina is assuring readers that in the future it all works out just fine. Sometimes that's enough. You have King's future for them where Bruce and her grow old together with a kid, you have Huntress in JSA say she was born shortly after Gotham War, and Zdarsky recently had the "Joker Year One" future where Selina and Bruce are older and happy.
