Io may not be a favourite to win the rumble but I expect she will get the IronWoman treatment.
Oh and if/when the confrontation in the rumble happens...her and Asuka are gonna leave one hell of a gawd damn impression.

I’m also wondering if they’re trying to pull a mini-Cena here by saying 6-8 weeks and then having Sasha show up at number 30 and win the Rumble in 3 weeks. Wouldn't surprise me...I could see it.

That really does leave the women's Rumble wide open now. I was expecting her to win it and face Charlotte at Wrestlemania. That match will probably still happen but it'll need to be Becky's Wrestlemania challenger winning the Rumble now. Bianca going back to back? I think it's either that or a returning Asuka. What about Rhea Ripley?

What about Rhea Ripley? Rhea is a possibility but at the same time, unless they blow off this Nikki/Rhea angle SOON (like next two weeks), I don't see it happening. It also doesn't help that Rhea is Liv Morgan levels of bad on the mic either.

Rhea would be a great choice. They cooled her off so much the last half of 2021. She needs something to get her back into a top spot. Where she SHOULD be.

That's what I'm thinking. Two months seems a lot for a sprained knee. I sprained my knee years ago and while it definitely sucked it wasn't that big of a deal. I think had a tough time putting weight on it and was walking with a limp for like a week but it was fine probably after three to four weeks. Unless I guess her sprain is a really bad one or something. Rumble is three weeks away and she got hurt almost a week ago so I think she could easily work through it especially in a battle royal where you don't have to run much and they could have her in late likely at #30 so then she won't have to do as much. I know his injury was a work but basically do a 1994 Bret. Come in late, limp around and sell it, and then in the finish they can do something where an overconfident Charlotte chargers her and Sasha sidesteps her her or lowbridges her out. Although I guess that would be to similar to the Becky and Charlotte finish in the 2019 Rumble so maybe not. I'm also surprised to see so many thinking Rhea has a shot. Didn't she just job to Zelina in like under a minute a few weeks ago? Like she hardly seems like someone being prepped for a Wrestlemania title match against Becky or Charlotte. If Sasha isn't in it the only possible winners I see are Charlotte, Alexa, or Bianca (if she deosn't win the triple threat). So basically the only three who were possibilities last year as well which just goes to show how poor of a job they've done in making any new stars over the last year.

Maybe in the end it isn't such a hot idea to only push like four women between two f***ing brands at once.

I mean WWE has that problem in general. Like they had to bring Seth over from Raw to challenge Roman because, with Drew out, they haven’t built up any credible main event guys on SD either.
It’s always hanging on by a thread.

Didn’t really devalue that title.

There’s also the possibility of Alexa winning the Rumble and challenging Charlotte to avenge her beloved Lily.

There’s also the possibility of Alexa winning the Rumble and challenging Charlotte to avenge her beloved Lily. If they do that then where does that leave Sasha? because assuming she will be good to go for Mania that kind of leaves her out in the preverbial cold because there is absoloutley no one left on that brand that is anywhere built up worthwhile to face Sasha at Mania. Unless Sasha gets the match with Trish that both have been throwing into the wind for awhile now.

I don't know who will win.
And I like that.
Whoever it works out for, I just hope it's not a Horsewoman. Anybody else is good.

Didn’t really devalue that title. I respectfully disagree. Ever sInce 1993 the point of the Rumble is win and then challenge for the top Championship at WM. Having the Champion in it and win (1990) is redundant. 2020 was a nice change of pace but should never be repeated.

The thing with Rhea/Zelina is that it was presented as entirely Nikki's fault and then they had Rhea beat Zelina easily the week after to emphasise that point, but it's easy to take the match out of context.
