My only issue with Rhea winning is we might get another live performance of her theme and I just can't go through that again.

That's what I'm thinking. Two months seems a lot for a sprained knee. I sprained my knee years ago and while it definitely sucked it wasn't that big of a deal. I think had a tough time putting weight on it and was walking with a limp for like a week but it was fine probably after three to four weeks. Unless I guess her sprain is a really bad one or something. Rumble is three weeks away and she got hurt almost a week ago so I think she could easily work through it especially in a battle royal where you don't have to run much and they could have her in late likely at #30 so then she won't have to do as much. I know his injury was a work but basically do a 1994 Bret. Come in late, limp around and sell it, and then in the finish they can do something where an overconfident Charlotte chargers her and Sasha sidesteps her her or lowbridges her out. Although I guess that would be to similar to the Becky and Charlotte finish in the 2019 Rumble so maybe not. I'm also surprised to see so many thinking Rhea has a shot. Didn't she just job to Zelina in like under a minute a few weeks ago? Like she hardly seems like someone being prepped for a Wrestlemania title match against Becky or Charlotte. If Sasha isn't in it the only possible winners I see are Charlotte, Alexa, or Bianca (if she deosn't win the triple threat). So basically the only three who were possibilities last year as well which just goes to show how poor of a job they've done in making any new stars over the last year. The thing with Rhea/Zelina is that it was presented as entirely Nikki's fault and then they had Rhea beat Zelina easily the week after to emphasise that point, but it's easy to take the match out of context.
She did get her win back but she still lost the week before granted in a protected way so it's still a 50/50 wash. She also didn't really do anything in the Survivor Series match, not eliminating anyone and getting beat by Shayna who is just basically a midcard heel at this point. I like her and think she should be being used better but her push and presentation as of late just doesn't seem like someone on the verge of a Wrestlemania World Title shot at all. Big Wrestlemania matches are probably the one thing they kind of put at least some sort of long term thought into. I think usually around November they kind of formulate their plan. Around that time they start to really strap the rocket to whoever they have planned for the title matches. Heavily protected, a lot of wins, strong booking etc. Like with the women this year it's clearly been Sasha and Bianca in that both have been booked super strong and have been super protected since November. It's clear those are the two that are being groomed for Charlotte and Becky. With Rhea that hasn't been the case. I could see them reheating her maybe after Mania and building her back up as a contender again but Mania title challenger now? Not seeing it.

If they do that then where does that leave Sasha? because assuming she will be good to go for Mania that kind of leaves her out in the preverbial cold because there is absoloutley no one left on that brand that is anywhere built up worthwhile to face Sasha at Mania. Unless Sasha gets the match with Trish that both have been throwing into the wind for awhile now. The Trish match is what came to mind for me, too. Trish retired. And once retired in wrestling you can never unretire.

Wouldn't surprise me...I could see it. Wait and see but yeah it wouldn't be a complete surprise to me either. I could see the last two women elimanting each other before number 30 gets called in and with Sasha being 30 she wins without having to compete while having time to recover for Mania,a very cheap way to win but it would be a different ending and the company would get the result they want.

The Trish match is what came to mind for me, too. Trish retired. And once retired in wrestling you can never unretire. Are you being sarcastic? Because Trish originally retired back in 2006 and she has made multiple appearances and has had multiple matches since. If anything wrestling is the only form of entertainment where retirements mean jack squat(*coughTerryFunkcough*)

I hoped the statement was so silly that the sarcasm would speak for itself!

The fact they’ve actually given a specific timeframe for this smells fishy to me.

If Sasha doesn't win the Rumble, I would probably favor Alexa over Rhea. It wouldn't shock me to see Trish or Beth Phoenix get the nod over Rhea as well.

Trish has also said she wants to wrestle Sasha and vice versa repeatedly before.

Trish has also said she wants to wrestle Sasha and vice versa repeatedly before. I’d hate to see them wrestler each other. Trish I’d watch wrestle anyone but Sasha. I’ve found it hard to be a fan of Sasha on the main roster as the legit boss character has never worked for me on the main roster. And also I think she takes too many risks for her frame and regardless of who it is, if I’m worried for a wrestlers safety I can’t engage in their matches.
