I wish the "that" he wouldn't do was leave :-(
Geez, we've had some stingers this month.
Loved his music, loved his media appearances, what else can I say? I just learned he hosted a game show too.
And the video to I Would Do Anything For Love = still my favorite Michael Bay production.

big bucket of win for the lad, he made 20 minute rock operas ok.
I always though he was in Nice Dreams the Cheech and Chong film, but after watching it this morning he isn't in it. just some dude who looks like him.

Goddamn, this one hurts. I mentioned last year in the Jim Steinman death thread that Meat Loaf is who truly got me into music as a kid. Before him, I just listened to whatever everyone else at school was listening to because I figured it must be good if everyone else liked it, but his was the first that made me say âYes, this is for me! Give me more of this!â Thanks to his CDs I got into metal and I havenât looked back nearly twenty years later.
Well, guess I know what Iâm listening to this weekend. Thanks for everything, Meat. Rip.

Man, that's a punch in the gut to wake up to on a Friday. Meat and Jim Steinman are rocking the halls of Valhalla this morning.

Ride on Like A Bat Out of Hell to see Paradise By the Dashboard Light, no regrets about anything left undone because Two Outta Three Ainât Bad, donât ever look back because Objects in the Rearview Mirror may appear closer than they are, go ahead into that great beyond because Rock and Roll Dreams do come true, thank you for the memories Itâs All Coming Back to Me, hot patootie bless his soul.

Rest in peace, sir.

Damn this one sucks. Bat Out of Hell was played constantly in my household as a small child and Bat II was one of my favorite albums. My mom, brother and I would sing I Would Do Anything for Love and Life is a Lemon on the ride to school just about every day. My youngest brothers "first concert" was in my stepmom's womb when she and my dad were on stage seating for his tour following Bat II. RIP.

I hope TMZ speculation is just that. Lord knows we can't use this mutating into "it wasn't really that/it's not real (unless we need to acknowledge why we dislike certain people/it's an election)!" or other conspiracy theory debates.
Then again I now remember who he "worked" for one season...

Not to start a debate, but to just not even mention that he was overweight for many years and has had health problems for a long time (comorbidities) is just...we don't need that. I say this as someone who is vaxed, boosted, obese and has had Covid, for what it's worth.

My favourite Meat Loaf memory was his appearance on Bo Selecta. He clicked on that Avid was a character and played him at his own. You can pinpoint the moment Leigh Francis (Avid) realises heâs outmatched.

I say this as someone who is vaxed, boosted, obese and has had Covid, for what it's worth. And it's TMZ. Hopefully it is just speculation for now. For the reasons I mentioned before. (people out there did it to Betty too, for the opposite reasons, ironically. You can't win. Honestly I am waiting for both sides to simplify passings into "[X] died because he/she wasn't on [our side]!") On a lighter note/memory: I am now remembering him being at the Land of 1,000 Dances video for The Wrestling Album as a drummer.
