At only 30 years old, this youngster has much potential. When are they going to give Kenny Dykstra, the eternal 20-year-old, a call? They already did, he works there as a producer now.

I doubt that's the case, because Danhausen's whole shtick is a joke that the audience is in on. The Boogeyman took himself WAY too seriously and it only became comedic after the fact. Honestly, I'd be amazed if Vince sees any difference in the two. I believe that Vince sees characters like Danhausen and Boogeyman to be cut from the same cloth. To Vince, all of these characters are either vampires or zombies. Like I said, I'm probably giving too much credit to the situation, but the timing of this signing is pretty coincidental. But your premise rests on Vince knowing who or what a Danhausen is. He doesn't.

If only he comes back as the Boogie-man, wears a leisure suit and dances everywhere he goes. And this is his theme song.

Hey, if it gets him (and his finisher) into the games I'm not complaining. The Boogeybomb or that weird reverse-World's Strongest Slam thing? Either way, sure, f*** it, why not.

Meant the Boogeyslam, used it as the finisher for one of my main CAWs. They did eventually put in a pretty similar move granted so it's not really needed but still.

All jokes about age aside, he's a cool guy, great if he's going to get WWE checks now.

It’s just a legends deal, most likely. The tweet announcing it has “this is how legends are made” as the soundtrack. I don’t think we’ll be seeing him on week-to-week television, save for maybe some 24/7 title shenanigans. If he's a Legend, than the bar for being considered one anymore must be six feet under

If the WWE is signing an old guy to a contract primarily for promotional and/or merchandising purposes it's always a "WWE Legends Deal." The way WWE uses the term even, like, Mantaur and Phantasio are "WWE Legends." Not saying it's not mind-alteringly stupid, like most WWE lingo, but, in fairness, I don't think they literally mean the Boogeyman is a transformative figure in WWE history or anything.

Are we going to see the return of Gymini next? The Bashams or, just the Bash-man!

Why the Boogeyman hate? He's in great shape and the character will always be WWE-esque. Nice guy too.
I wouldn't mind him on a legends deal, appearing on the Network, entering the Rumble, having a couple matches.
