I am an attorney.
Not that kind of attorney, I’ve never argued a case. I’m also not paid that well for an attorney (about 72k), but 99% of the time I’m out at 4:30 and I’m at year 7 of 10 of public service loan forgiveness (which is great as I have 260k in student loans)
I work in a nonpartisan state legislative office that drafts all the bills that the state legislators introduce. Been doing it for about 2 years.
My undergraduate degree was a dual degree in political science and film production, but I lacked the courage to fly out to LA and pursue the film side of things. I would have probably stuck to editing.
I do have a few IMDB credits. And a Bacon number of 4 if you count nonspeaking zombie roles.
Anyway, don’t go to law school.

As my former username stated: Master Of The Custodial Arts (or a janitor if you want to be a dick about it) What do you make at that? I've seen some wide range of salaries for that job.

As long as you can do basic math you’ll be fine. It’s just about knowing where to put the money Really? Damn I guess I shoulda looked into that as an option for school then it always scared me off because I don't like advanced math. Yeah you don’t have to do calculus or algebra. You take some courses in it of course but your basic functions in accounting is making sure money goes in right accounts. Create journal entries etc

I am making it sound that way but if you are a detailed person then it is a good career path. I like numbers so I find it interesting. It will cost you a little pretty penny tho. A few years of college

I work as a research analyst. A couple of weeks ago I transitioned from working on Covid mitigation testing to Next Generation Sequencing. It came with a pay bump and some job stability, so that's cool.

Not much at all. Its 5 hours a day for minimum wage. I don't really try to make a lot of money though. I spend most of my work day reading comic books, watching Hulu, and getting buff in the gym. I make about 60 bucks a day to pretty much just hang out and do about 2 hours of actual work.

That's cool the high school by me is hiring for it is why I asked...it's roughly 14 for a regular custodian but head custodian was 20 an hour so I wondered if it was something I should explore for money at the moment.

I work at a wood processing factory, as a plane operator. Mainly, I calibrate the machinery and do quality control of the finished product. As we're a really small crew, I also have to be the mechanic, electrician and fork lift operator at times. Been doing it for close to twenty years now, seen quite a few coworkers come and go, so I guess it's not for everyone, but I'm pretty content with what I do. The pay's alright, and at the end of the day I can drop anything work-related and just relax.

If you are seeking money, do head custodian if you can. I've done it before its not much extra work. You just tell the other janitor or two what you want them to do that day in addition to your own stuff.

Paraeducator. Basically an all-around assistant for the teacher. Currently in high school level special education after spending 12 years in a Conduct Disorder classroom.
I could not imagine working in any other field after all these years because of my very generous paid break and vacation schedule every year. Lmao

I got the job through an unemployment agency and knew nothing about it, so I received at-work training for the production side of work. The other stuff, maintainance and such, I picked up as time went along. As I said, being a small crew you have to wear a lot of different hats to make things run as smoothly as possible. I guess at some point I got tired of sweeping the floors while others repaired stuff, so I observed, asked questions and learned stuff both to help out and be less bored.
