From beginning to end.
I'm genuinely curious.
It seems like every time there's a promising story, there's always a few hiccups and stop gaps along the way. For example, the Summer of Punk having Del Rio cash in and it somehow becoming Nash vs HHH.
I was looking at a video of the Black Scorpion vs Sting feud and to be honest, the whole thing was intriguing at the beginning... Even when he was doing magic tricks and possessing people, it still had legs. The moment it became stupid was when they had it be Ric Flair and then it was all forgotten about... I mean, Ric Flair doing black magic? Come on man. I heard it was gonna be a guy called "Angel of Death".. Honestly the reveal might have been underwhelming but at least it would've made sense.
This brings me back to the Higher Power story. Another intriguing storyline which had around 6 months of buildup... Then it was revealed as Vince and it made absolutely no sense cause Taker kidnapped Stephanie and Vince was furious. It would've literally been better if it was The Jackyl cause again at least it would've made SENSE.
This brings me back to my original question... Was there ever a perfectly written story from start to finish with no "WTF" moments in between?
I'm keeping this solely to WWE and WCW cause I think AEW have been knocking it out of the park with their storylines. Hangman winning the title was definitely perfect from start to finish in my eyes.

The Batista/Triple H feud from 2005 comes to mind.

Edge's 2005/2006 heel run that peaks with the cash-in.

Man, that's a tough one. I think HHH/Batista is a good call. I think one that I thought was told well to START was Kane/Undertaker. Obviously, over time that thing went all over the place, but I thought Bad Blood to WrestleMania 14 was really well done for its time, with lots of dramatic beats that I thought hit. I was young when that all happened, but I liked it at the time.

Intentional or not, Really strong consideration needs to be given to string of Wrestlemanias that started with HBK/Flair and finally ended with HHH/Taker

The Ric Flair retirement storyline, leading to the Jericho/HBK feud.
November 2007 to October 2008. Almost a full year of great storytelling.

Mega Powers is probably the best storyline WWE has ever done.

Vince giving Ric Flair an ultimatum in October 2007, which directly led to Shawn Michael's retirement 2 1/2 years later, is probably the closest this century tbh.

Mega Powers is probably the best storyline WWE has ever done. From Andre's heel turn to WrestleMania V is honestly such a really well told turn of events that just includes a bit of everything and a fantastic set of wrestlers pulling off some great matches.

Nope
Every single story has faults somewhere some clearly more glaring than others but perfect? naw especially when you start looking at the story deeper than face value.

But I'd love to hear, for example, how the Batista/Triple H feud could have been executed any better than it actually was.

Bryan from SummerSlam 13 to Mania 30 probably falls into this if it wasn't for the fact it was clearly done with a gun to their heads

I also think the NXT title run of Bo Dallas, Neville - Zayn - to KO's win probably counts. Sasha Vs Bayley in NXT was also very close.

The Batista/Triple H feud from 2005 comes to mind. Someone's put the whole feud in chronological order on YouTube. I'm watching it. I missed a lot of it. Some of the best work of Trips career apart from his 2000 run.

With the caveat that I wasn't around to see it, I think that late 80s/early 90s Macho Man Randy Savage, in general, is the most well-booked professional wrestling character of all time. Everything from the Mega Powers exploding, to his feud with Jake Roberts, to his reconciliation and marriage to Elizabeth was absolutely perfect, at least when viewed in retrospect.
