The Batista/Triple H feud from 2005 comes to mind. Someone's put the whole feud in chronological order on YouTube. I'm watching it. I missed a lot of it. Some of the best work of Trips career apart from his 2000 run. He gets a lot of grief, and a good chunk of it deserved, but he perfectly put big Dave over as a total monster

Bryan from SummerSlam 13 to Mania 30 probably falls into this if it wasn't for the fact it was clearly done with a gun to their heads Yeah, we really should not credit them with this because at the time, it was bordering on unwatchable agony almost the whole way. Knowing the ending from here, it's a great story.

I'm repeating what others have said but
1. Mega Powers 2. the Shield 2012-2014 3. HHH v Batista
would be an easy top 3 for me

If you're nitpicking, maybe. But I'd love to hear, for example, how the Batista/Triple H feud could have been executed any better than it actually was. Not to screw over Randy Orton? That's a separate issue. That's like saying Austin vs Vince wasn't all that because it meant that Ken Shamrock couldn't get a push as the top babyface.

Punk cashing in on Jeff Hardy and their subsequent feud was great.

I think it's hard to write one perfectly for live TV, especially when relying on the audience to be part of the reaction. So, there will always be some hiccups. Some storylines that were mostly great:
Michaels & Jericho leading us to SRS Jericho. They told that story beautifully.
Owen turning on Bret- took a long time, but was completely convincing that two brothers wanted to destroy each other.
Some non WWE examples:
Lawler vs Tommy Rich & Austin Idol (It lost steam in the aftermath when Lawler didn't really go through with the haircut and the blowoff was a crappy scaffold match, but the storytelling was great)
The Ted Dibiase/Dick Murdoch double turn in Mid South. They tied up so many loose ends with Ric Flair's territory visit & ended up with an incredible babyface run for Dibiase.

The WM25 build was a bit weak, but man everything from this moment: to here: was some of my all time favorite wrestling storytelling.

Nope Every single story has faults somewhere some clearly more glaring than others but perfect? naw especially when you start looking at the story deeper than face value. If you're nitpicking, maybe. But I'd love to hear, for example, how the Batista/Triple H feud could have been executed any better than it actually was. I’ll answer that. The second part of that feud was built around the notion that Batista was supposedly deeply afraid of the Pedigree, I shit you not. Talk about completely redundant and absurd plot points that add nothing of value.

Bret/Austin is my favorite feud of all-time. It’s never ended though because Bret is "still breathin’ air"

His run at the top afterwards didn't live up to it for a variety of reasons, but the boyhood dream angle taking Shawn Michaels from a dickhead heel into the face of the company over a year was wrestling storytelling at its best, like how they rolled with the punches and took Shawn legit getting beaten up in a bar fight-- which could've just made him look like even more a douchebag-- into a fake career-ending concussion scare that got him even more over as a babyface.

Randy Savage in 1991 is pretty much perfect booking.
Savage's entire WWE run was almost perfect too really.

But I'd love to hear, for example, how the Batista/Triple H feud could have been executed any better than it actually was. Of the top of my head, I remember not being a fan of how they showed Batista listening in on Triple H and Flair basically calling him a dumbass or something, shortly before he was going to make the decision of which title to challenge for. It turned it from "hopefully Batista does the right thing and picks Triple H" to "well yeah, obviously he has to pick Triple H now, no matter what Teddy Long will argue regarding Smackdown and JBL"

Eugene and William Regal.
Kidding, but seeing Regal go from hating Eugene to being friends and tag partners with him was pretty sweet.
