Just watched “The Kliq Rules” and HBK came off like a dickhead in his current day interview and that was a fluff piece, so this story doesn’t surprise me in anyway.

Nash and Hall were the first ones to get guaranteed contracts which completely changed the industry

Nash and Hall were the first ones to get guaranteed contracts which completely changed the industry And their whole thing about finding how much they were each paid, so Vince couldn't short change them. Working together, kind of... collectively bargaining to get better conditions. Hmm sounds like wrestling could still do with something like that not limited to 5 assholes.

Makes you wish that one of the top guys today was around and just crapped all over them. Someone like Reigns. Rollins, Lesnar, or Cena. You know they wouldn't have said anything to one of those guys.
I'm also a little surprised HHH didn't thank the Revival as they always seemed like his guys. Papa H and NXT guys all seemed close.
You know Waltman is a good dude. At the height of the kliq issues with the Harts he was still hanging out with Bret half the time and Bret spoke highly of him in his book.

From listening to SRS you are Triple &'s boys until you get to thr main roster then you lose thay support

Which is why I have no problem cracking jokes about him losing his power in the company.

Most have said he is nice but they say he was a big enabler towards a lot of the Bill Demott abuse and that a lot of the people that were in his inner circle are just backstabbers

I just wish the alternatives weren't Johnny Ace and Bruce Prichard.

I remember watching that and coming to the same conclusion as you. Michaels came across like a complete prick, it was like getting a glimpse of the 1990s Shawn Micheals again. As always, Bret was right.

I think given any kind of opportunity to put someone down in front of their buddies Shawn and Hunter will do so. Even at 50+ years old they strike me as guys still stuck in that 30 year old child mindset they were in, in the 1990s as part of DX. A good example to me would be HHH's AEW knock at the Hall of Fame with Billy. I get mocking a company wanting to be competition on a Raw or Smackdown but does he not have enough respect for Billy that he can't let the knock go on their big night. Even if he doesn't like or respect Billy, at least let it go for one night!
