What would you say it is? And it can’t be something where a heel is slowly turning face and vice versa. For biggest heat on a face i think it’s Roman the night after Mania 33, not sure about biggest pop for a heel

Not sure if they were the biggest but CM Punk got big pops while playing heel. I remember one show, I forget what city, and he had to resort to taking the local pro sports teams down and they STILL cheered him.
I don’t know why people cite a babyface being booed as a big deal (‘he’s supposed to be the face and he’s not over’) but a heel getting cheered isn’t see the same way. In both cases they aren’t getting the desired reaction and it’s a reflection on them.
To me the worst is the ‘He’s a great heel, I LOVE him.’

Cena at One Night Stand is up there for faces. Ziggler cashing in on ADR is up there for heels (this was before the double turn). Honestly any major heel win in the past ten years could contend for this since fans have moved away somewhat from the normal face/heel dynamic and more cheer big moments whether they be title wins or turns or debuts.

Any heel cashing in MITB usually gets a big pop (seriously even Swagger and Del Rio got decent ones). Ziggler and Edge probably being the biggest.
If it counts Hogan hulking up against Rock at Wrestlemania.
It came up in another thread recently but a couple of my favourites were at consecutive Summerslams when the crowds wildly cheered HHH and Angle beating Eugene.

It was a much smaller crowd in terms of number of people but a very strong and vocal percentage of the 1995 Raw audience was chanting "KILL THE CLOWN" at a face Doink during his Waylon Mercy match. Only time I can recall offhand Vince and Lawler having to mentioned the crowd hating the good guy.

Biggest heat on a face has to be Cena at ONS 2006.

Biggest heat on a face has to be Cena at ONS 2006. eh... I don't know if I'd count that. Cena was clearly booked and acted as the heel in the match.

Seeing as they were technically heels on WWF television you gotta give a nod to the Hart Foundation at Canadian Stampede.

Ryback's turn on Cena was so well-received by the crowd that people doubted he had actually turned at all for the first couple of weeks.

Roman's post-Rumble serenade was really bad for a booed face. Not even The Rock could save him. If anything, it made the whole thing more infamous.
On a smaller scale, they did a WWECW show at Hammerstein shortly after the brand launched. The main event was Batista working face against a heel Big Show for the ECW Championship and the crowd just absolutely hated on everything related to it. Really got to Big Dave, too.

Nobody talks about that promo where Ryback yelled at Mick Foley about like everything and nothing at the same time cause he's bad Ryback in his beanie now and they should cause it was hilarious

I just watched the match where The Midnight Express beat The Dynamic Dudes and turn heel again (Clash of the Champions IX), and it's no lie, the fans loved it when Corny hit Douglas with the tennis racket and the Express won. All through that match the fans were booing when the Dudes were winning.

Can't think of any specific individual pop, but Angle was pretty popular throughout 2005 despite being a heel until early 2006.

Ryback's turn on Cena was so well-received by the crowd that people doubted he had actually turned at all for the first couple of weeks. It didn't exactly help that Ryback had a perfectly understandable reason to be pissed at Cena, not having his back against The Shield.

one of the best heel promos of all time. Which was 100% the type of reaction they were going for with it... it's a shame they immediately walked back on it with Cole's lines and then Roman's usual wishy washy bullshit promo the next week before Braun did the hilariously overly long beatdown.

RVD during the Invasion used to get monster pops even though he was on the heel team.
