Omos is terrible and a charisma vaccuum. But he isn’t worse than Khali. (High bar to clear there!)

Alex Riley should have been a big deal. Holy shit this is one of the most unpopular opinions I've seen in a while outside of completely batshit insane stuff like "Reverse Vampires framed Benoit!" I commend your bravery and honesty! I remember seeing him before he was with Miz and thought that’s the next John Cena.

That schtick was going to get old fast. Right? Right?!

I didn't hate Jinder's title run experiment (although there were bad elements to it of course). The matches were a bit bollocks, but his entrance was f***ing badass and he gave it his all. If you had no context as to where he came from on the roster or how he ballooned in size, I think he'd had made a believable champ.

Punk during most of the Summer of Punk was kind of an unlikeable douche. That’s not even me being “yay Cena”, I’m serious, go back. HHH didn’t need to go over him, no, but I definitely wanted the Hunter *character* to knock him of his high horse. You weren’t alone in that. Punk was pretty insufferable at points during that time and people forget HHH was being cheered over him half the time. It’s telling that HHH wasn’t booed for beating him which would probably have happened if Punk wasn’t acting so high and mighty at the time. I remember one promo in particular I think in the build to that match Punk came out to cheers, people wanted to like him, then in his promo was basically talking down to fans who liked WWE/HHH/Cena and by the end he was getting a mixed response and HHH was the clear crowd favorite.

I THINK they were trying to do a Bret situation, having him as a heel to the "WWE fans" and a face to the typical internet ones. He was being selfish, an asshole, but also making a lot of complaints about the product that fans actually had. Problem is, the Bret situation, you had him either a face or a heel depending on location, you'd get different reactions depending on where you were, but you'd get a mixed reaction. If you're playing to different parts of the same audience in the same building, it can and did, easily enter mixed reaction territory. Considering there's been a few times when a heel has gone off and made the complaints fans have, only to be beaten and proven wrong, that's my theory.

I always enjoyed Kane in Comedy roles over more serious ones.

I remember seeing him before he was with Miz and thought that’s the next John Cena. Same. Dude was over for a minute too. The Punk stuff is 110% accurate (and I’m a punk mark). If you go back and watch it, he had people in the palm of his hand and constantly turned people off. WrestleMania has had a good build all things considered I kind of agree. I feel the card’s all over the place but they’ve done a great job of building up “WrestleMania” as an event in itself. Which they usually do.

If the Bellas could both work the Rumble then they can probably work some more protected matches. I say put the tag titles on them at least once as an honorary reign. I think Nikki said back in January she was cleared to wrestle again, so I'm surprised they weren't added to the Women's Tag Titles match at WM.

Out of the Usos/New Day matches in 2017, the SummerSlam Kick-Off is better than the Hell in a Cell

I still see WWE’s four major world titles as big important deals.
The IC, US and Tag titles need some help, yes. I do agree the midcard belts need to be defended on the main Mania shows and the midcard champs should win more, yes.
But I am anticipating Becky/Bianca and Flair-Rousey, and Roman/Brock has a lot of promise.

WWE in mid-2019 with the Wildcard and 24/7 Championship shenanigans is more entertaining and enjoyable than the current RAW and SmackDown

Wrestlemania doesn't need long, dragged-out entrances; put someone at or near Gorilla to interview participants while their opponents plod down the ramp. The only entrances worth showing in full are the truly dramatic ones designed for drama. Right now there's really only one entrance worthy of that treatment, and he's not on the card (yet.)
