MCU movies last act, finale if you will, have a habit of blending together with their countless cgi, being thrown at even more cgi; like endless battle scenes and more skybeams than you can shake a stick at.
Which MCU pictures have done a good job of breaking from the mold?

Still think Doctor Strange's final bit was creative. Instead of the big boss battle, he beats him by trapping in the time loop and dying over and over again.

Civil War. That one broke the mold by doing the CGI-laden fights in the first and second acts, then making the final fight of the movie a more intimate one-vs-two brawl between Cap and Bucky, and Iron Man. And it worked for what the movie was going for. We got to see some of the Avengers fighting the bad guys at the start. Then we got our big superhero brawl that the movie was being sold on. And finally, the emotional Cap vs. Tony confrontation that we knew was coming, but still surpassed every expectation.

In a franchise where everything is resolved by punching, kicking, and blowing shit up, having the big threat defeated by simply outsmarting the villain is incredibly refreshing.

I remember thinking the final battle in the first Ant-Man was really good in that instead of it being this massive epic takedown it was a much more (literal) small-scale battle where Scott was trying to protect his daughter. Then the execution of the final fight itself was pretty well done while also being funny.

Dr Strange is definitely my favorite, but all of these stick out as ones I also loved.

You could make the argument that Winter Soldier still ended with a CGI-fest with all the Project Insight helicarriers and all the spectacle there, but I still feel like it's one of the more comparatively restrained MCU entries by virtue of being more of a political/espionage thriller more than a superhero flick and it's all the better for it.
I also second Black Panther, even with it checking a lot of the boxes for CG final battle cut between one-on-one between main hero and main villain, it's just done so well that it's clear the focus isn't -just- the big flashy CGI.
