Seems like several of these comments say ‘waiting for a feud to fall into place” … how about, you know, BOOK one? I mean does Tony think they’re just going to organically accidentally step into a feud? They have no aim, no direction, no purpose. Just ‘two established top guys, a revered non-participant leader and a new guy’ … with nowhere to go and nothing to do. And seems like every group is ‘waiting for the trios title to come into being.’ If that’s the plan for all these factions, then go ahead and introduce the trios title and let them do something. (And in kayfabe that makes no sense that groups would get together in hopes that a new title will emerge, especially a group with DB and Mox that should be perusing the top singles title.) We should be past the ‘squash some jobbers’ point by now. If you needed to do that a couple of times to get the wheels going and let them adjust to each other, sure. But don’t throw two top talents together and then let ‘creative has nothing for you’ play out onscreen on a weekly basis. There aren't many hot feuds right now, I think a lot of it is because they're doing the Owen tournament and that seems to be way more about just pure wrestling than feuds.

Said this in the dynamite thread
I wonder what the big feud for BCC is because it feels like their spinning their wheels a bit. Getting Wheeler over is cool(not my cup of tea but whatever) but there are only three weeks left until the PPV and they have nothing really going on as far as a feud. I don't think you can leave off Bryan & Mox for the PPV. IDK, I just don't feel like it's a great use of two of your biggest stars to just be having random(but good) trios matches and not be setting something up for them.
To me, it feels like they're waiting on Moxley to sign the contract extension so they progress the story further or move him into a world title feud. But it just feels so slow.

That must be a pretty damned important title (that doesn’t exist yet) for BCC (which includes arguably two of your three biggest currently-available names) and Black’s group and basically every other bunch of folks to be sitting around doing nothing waiting for it to be introduced. If that’s the case, introduce the title, announce a tournament or whatever and get on with it.

They probably should get on with it, everyone seems to know it's coming with the amount of trios that exist.

Regal is totally the glue in this faction. I would be less interested without him.
Is a little early cause the big feud for them isn't here yet. Tag titles? House of Black? Some people from NJPW?

I get it. I like all four guys, I think Regal is great as the head of a stable, but the group itself...ehh. I honestly feel like Mox doesn't fit the dynamic. But AEW has earned nothing if not my patience, so I'll give them a chance to make it work.

It's enjoyable, but it also feels like it's mainly a way of marking time for Bryan and Mox until there's room for another main event angle for either of them.

I've been hugely disappointed
The way the angle started I was expecting a two-man power trip of blood thirsty power hungry bad assess
Instead Moxley has decided he wants to wrestle kids and DB is a mute
Danielson was cutting the best promos of his career imo, and his snark was so entertaining
It feels like DB and Moxley have decided Regal isn't as appreciated as he should be so are doing all they can to get him over instead. Makes no sense
I respect Regal as a person and enjoy him on commentary, but I think both Danielson and Moxley cut better live promos, and kayfabe wise they're WAY ahead of him so looking at it from a purely TV show point if view it makes no sense that he leads them
Like I say maybe I understood the build wrong, but I thought I'd be seeing them viciously attacking the bucks, jurassic express, squashing private party laying out acclaimed etc
Instead they have pointless 10 minute matches with rookies every week to...erm, beat rookies?
Moxley insisted Danielson bleed with him, so they can casually wrestle clean matches against kids as an old guy praises them, yay

Feels like a waste of BD and Mox. Don’t give two shits about Yuta.

I still don't buy him as who he presents himself as on TV. He wants to come off as the Ultimate Most Violent Badass Ever, and it just doesn't click, for me. I get that it does for others, but it doesn't for me. Getting rid of his goofy-ass shoulder thing he does would help, though.

Yuta seems like a solid worker but lacking that it factor for me so far.
Really miss top singles heel Bryan Danielson who was just incredible in that role, it was far too brief.
So yeah, lots of good pieces but it's not really clicking for me and I still don't like the name for reasons I can't put my finger on. Definitely think I would have preferred them as a two man power trip challenging for and winning the tag titles at the PPV.
The only personal story I'm feeling right now is MJF/Wardlow and three weeks out from one of your big shows that doesn't seem like a great position to be in to me.

It seems so petty but I can't get past how big of a difference getting rid of that shoulder roll would make to his presentation. It's like Cena's punches and STF circa 2006 to me 😂

I want them to get into a feud myself, but wow some of the takes in this thread are so down on this group and it honestly feels like they've JUST found their footing
There is nothing wrong with them finding themselves as a cohesive unit and taking out some other Trios in the process. They recruited Yuta, it was a white hot angle, and it still is as he integrates himself into the fold. Regal just cut one of the promos of the year on the Road To and they aired some of it on TV too. These guys are only continuing to get more synergy as a group facing teams like Factory, Dante/Lee/Brock, Gunn Club, and AFO, and frankly, people tune in to see it, and watch that happen.
That's only been happening for a few weeks and people are already ready to deem this "meh" and quickly becoming a dropped ball? Sorry if I don't agree, I love their aesthetic, I love them getting more coherant as a group, I love their beatdown trios moment together as a spot so much, and there's clearly a plan in place for them, but having a few matches to build them up instead of just thrusting them into an instant feud, imo, is a smart move, so when they do in fact do it, they feel more like a legitimate team.
And I happily await it, as they're one of my favorite acts in the company right now.

Wheeler had a good showing, and clearly was accepted by the crowd the night of the Moxley match.. but for me that's where it stopped. Maybe it's just because I don't know anything about his background.. but you have two guys who are known for being 'legit' violent.. and then this blue chipper looking dude in Yuta. Tbh, I couldn't get past his face in the Mox match. He just looked so happy to be there (which is totally okay, and understandable) but it was just an eye-worm for me.

I still like the faction but the more they have the same house show type match every week the less I'm in to it. Wanna see them do something other than beat up goobers.

I'd rather Mox and Danielson be tearing it up in the main event scene with guys like Hangman and Punk. I prefer when there is multiple guys all gunning for the world title.
I'm so over factions, and honestly do not get the hype for Yuta. Dude has no personality

On one hand, I've been mentally saying SCRUMPTIOUS SCRUMMY SCRUMMY SCRUMMY OOH OOH OOH all day
On the other I'm really ready for them to get a deeper storyline already. Their matches are over huge for the live fans but outside of them getting more acclimated to Yuta each week it feels like there isn't really a story for them yet. I want them to have rivals above jobber status already.

I’m still enjoying BCC. I see it as Wheeler Yuta is still learning (the footage in Regal’s promo, you can see Danielson & Moxley talking to him and pointing in the ring) and these 6 man tags are to come to the same level as a group. I’m hoping in the next few weeks Regal will unveil his grand plan and have them take all of the gold available. I predict Mox as World, AmDrag as TNT and AmDrag & Yuta as Tag champions.
