Of course we all know there was two Matt Strikers. But this thread was more inspired by the fact that since WWE made Pete Dunne "Butch", I now find it funny whenever on AEW commentary Tazz (or whoever) will refer to the Butcher as "Butch'". I like to imagine WWE sending a cease and desist over that.
More realistically, The Rock and Diamond Dallas Page were Both "people's champ" in WWF and WCW respectively around the same time. As a solely WWF watcher at that point, I was shocked and outraged to later find out DDP had taken this title too, but was he actually first one to use it?
Any others examples of similar?

Dick the Bruiser and Bruiser Brody.
Brody would call himself King Kong Brody when they were in the same promotion out of respect. Though he supposedly hated Dick.

In another timeline, we could have had "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan and "The Blueprint" Sasha Banks at the same time.

Dick the Bruiser and Bruiser Brody. Brody would call himself King Kong Brody when they were in the same promotion out of respect. Though he supposedly hated Dick. Bobby Heenan hated Dick the Bruiser. Basically, Bruiser treated Bobby like shit when he started in Indianapolis. Bobby was basically on call 24/7 to run errands for Bruiser, who didn’t go out in public much due to his local celebrity status, and if Bobby didn’t or couldn’t get him exactly what he wanted, he’d yell and cuss and be, well, a dick. Someone asked Bobby at a Q&A for some stories about the Blackjacks and Dick the Bruiser. He talked about the Blackjacks, but said, “I refuse to talk about Dick the Bruiser. It’s a personal choice.” Tony Schiavone said that a fan once gave Bobby a cassette tape of audio from old Indianapolis TV. They listened to it in the car, and Bobby was enjoying it, telling stories about the guys who were mentioned or doing promos…until a Dick the Bruiser promo started. Tony said Bobby ejected the tape, threw it out the window, and shouted, “f*** Dick the Bruiser!” On topic, but sticking with Heenan, there was a manager in Detroit named Eddie Creachman who also called himself “The Brain,” but I don’t know the timeline well enough to know if Bobby was using it then or was still “Pretty Boy.” I’m pretty sure Don Muraco and Ole Anderson were both using “The Rock” at the same time.

Ric Flair, Buddy Landell, and Roger Kirby. All used the Nature Boy nickname at around the same time period.

Hacksaw Buch Reed and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Both in the same promotion and when in different promotions.

Hacksaw Buch Reed and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Both in the same promotion and when in different promotions. There would've been "Hacksaw" Buzz Sawyer around this time too, but I don't know if it was at the same time as those two.
Back in the pre-internet age British promoters used to take names from imported American wrestling magazines, so you had two Steve Regals at the same time in the mid/late eighties, and two Blackjack Mulligans in the seventies.

I had this thought recently about there being a Xia Li and Xia brookside in the wwe.
Also, is it just a coincidence that there’s a Shaw Samuels out there when Dexter lumus used to be, and now again, Samuel Shaw?

How about George “The Animal” Steele and Road Warrior Animal?
When Public Enemy we’re in WWE (and in the process lived up to their name, but that’s another story for another day), one of the members was Rocco Rock. At the same time as The Rock.
Any wrestler in the WWE that had the King moniker at the same time Jerry Lawler was around.

I can't remember if he ever used Rocco Rock on WWF TV but I think he was either Flyboy or Flyboy Rocco since they didn't want him having the "Rock" part of his name.

I remember going online and they said that the future WWE has changed his name. The magazine however never mentioned his previous name.

There's currently multiple Asukas. Yep, which is why one of them uses "VENY" a lot in recent times instead, I'd imagine, to avoid confusion.
