I'm pretty sure Haystacks Calhoun and Giant Haystacks were wrestling at the same time.

I noticed last week that Kyle O'Reilly has "KO'" on one of his knee-pads and of course there's KO in WWE.

The Future Chris Sabin The Future Frankie Kazarian And the funny thing about that, is both guys had pretty decent careers! Though, did Sabin & Kazarian have a singles match against each other at some point? Multiple times. Their last match aired on Impact a few weeks ago.

There's a few examples within eighties British wrestling 'borrowing' American wrestlers names. Steve 'William' Regal being the most famous example, but there was a Greg Valentine too (nephew of Big Daddy) and a Skull Murphy off the top of my head. Then of course, there's been various Kendo Nagasaki's too.

Not exactly the same, but Christian Cage, Brian Cage, and Adam Page, Ethan Page. Don't forget Claire Lynch in TNA and Becky Lynch in WWE.

I thought this was some sort of joke until Wiki-ing this guy to find out that it's true, mind-blown! Was Bret using those names an intentional reference to Harte or big coincidence? I almost guaratee it's intentional, & probably why Vince initially tried to make Bret a cowboy when he first came into the WWF.

Though, did Sabin & Kazarian have a singles match against each other at some point? I first became aware of these guys because one of the Apter mags did an article about them having the same nickname and squaring off in a big cruiserweight tourney. Not long after I began watching TNA (weekly ppv days) and they had both been signed. I believe the first show I saw then in was an Ultimate X match.

As pointed out by OSW, "Dingo Warrior" Jim Hellwig was renamed Ultimate Warrior to rank him above the Road Warriors and the "Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich

Konik was Brian Adams and Bryan Clark.
ECW had Tony DeVito and Skull Von Crush, who changed his name to Vito Lograsso, before becoming Big Vito in WCW.
When Charles Wright returned to the WWF as part of the Nation of Domination, he went by the name Kama Mustafa, while Mustafa of The Gangstas was still in ECW (although he departed shortly after); also, Alex Wright was working for WCW at the same time Charles Wright was with the WWF
Steve Austin's real last name is Williams and he was in the same promotion as Dr. Death Steve Williams a few times.
Not the same name, but similar names, Samu and Sabu in 1994/1995 (funny story, when I was a kid and just getting into wrestling, I read an article in one of the Apter Mags, I think it was a WWF report card? They had predictions for the second half of the year and one was about Sabu wrestling Shawn Michaels, but I thought they were talking about the former Headshrinker lol)
Not quite the same thing, but Julia Hart wrestling for AEW, which had the Owen Hart Tournament, she even had the chance to qualify!
