That's a shame. I haven't seen enough of his time in Impact but dude basically rebuilt himself from what was a big low career wise where he almost became "the guy who had to tag with nZo for the rest of his life in small time indies" to being someone you could slide into a company's upper midcard without much fuss. And props to him, that can be a hard thing to do in pro wrestling and taken people who've had bigger upsides.
All the success in what's next.

IMPACT's been letting some good folks walk lately. Interesting.

Wow, did not expect that.
I started seeing some of his stuff in Impact and he has come a long way from where he was previously. I'm surprised they didn't try to keep him, though I wouldn't be upset if he came to AEW.

IMPACT's been letting some good folks walk lately. Interesting. I remember reading it's been a strategy of theirs to let contracts expire so they can shake up the roster and keep things fresh with new signings (outside of a handful of needed talent, obviously, Josh Alexander has a long term deal for example) and that seems to be the case with people like Morrisey and The Iinspiration.

Guessing he's going to end up back in WWE given those rumblings that they were impressed with his match with Wardlow.

WWE's in need of bigger guys that can hold their own in the ring to counter balance the Omos' of the world.

If that's the case, frankly, good for him. He's a guy they need and is likely way more prepared for life in the 'Fed than he was going from NXT.

Like if WWE does sign him and he does go, he’ll have a home in Impact.

I think he'd actually be a better fit in WWE. AEW has guys like Lance Archer who fill the 'big guy' role. Morrisey is a better work than any of tall guys in WWE so yeah he could do really well.

A Big Cass redemption arc in WWE would be very cool. I always liked his work, even suit version vs DBry.

Damn, really enjoyed his Impact work and was curious to see where the whole "heir to the throne" stuff mentioned on commentary was gonna end up but him going back to WWE would be a feel good story.

Hoping he goes to WWE just so he & Edge can cut promos on each other using the exact same voice.

I can see him going to WWE with the recent rumblings. I just worry it's going to lead to him going back to his old ways with the much more hectic road schedule they have and just how things can be there. In that case I think AEW would be better for him.

Him in a redemption arc like Drew would be pretty good to see.
