Not only was Tim White one of the most well known referees of his time, he was the handler of Andre the Giant. Rest In Peace.

Sadly, the one thing that many of us will know him for is one of the most disgusting segments that the WWE has ever done

Bloody hell, he can't have been that old. One of the most memorable of all the Attitude era refs. RIP

This week has been awful.
I did meet him and I think he was an agent to get WWE guys at this amusement center in Jersey for meet and greets. I saw him once or twice there. Same way we got to meet Howard Finkel. Sadly I never got to take a picture with him.

He had a nice career.
It's a shame that the tasteless joke seems to have overridden what people will remember.
I have to be honest, I thought he had passed away a year or two ago.
Anyways, reat in peace, sir.

Seriously, I didn't even know he wasn't well. He kind of fell of the radar for me as I never heard much news about him til now. This sucksas I really liked him as a ref. RIP Tim White

I actually thought he had passed some time before COVID.
You know he had some amazing stories.

I'm surprised how young he was - 68. I thought with everything he did including chaperone Andre, he would be at least 15-20 years older.

Hanging out with Andre probably aged him by about 15-20 years. . He was 31 when he joined as a part time ref. He only was an agent for Andre from 85-93 at least through wwf. At the time of joining he became a part time ref but was more Andre’s agent, a position he’d have for around 6-8 years until Andre died.

Funnily enough the first time Tim and Andre "met" was when Andre was yelling at Tim to get out of the wrestler backstage area. I can't remember if he had told by Vince to work with Andre yet or he had been hired by WWF and no one knew who he was yet. But Andre wanted him gone from the wrestler's area.
