Is Bundesliga just a bad league beyond the always-dominant Bayern Munich (who are eleven-in-a-row league champions)? It's not a bad league; most of the mid-table teams and up are just as good as or better than their equivalents in the other top leagues, it's just that Bayern are on a completely different level.

Ibrox has become a fortress for Rangers in Europe. Even if they lose the away leg they always seem to blow the opposition away at home. They've had a lot of great European results in the past 2-3 years. Dortmund. Leipzig. Porto. Benfica. Braga. Villarreal. Feyenoord. Galatasaray. Spartak Moscow. Red Star Belgrade. Sparta Prague. Legia Warsaw. Rapid Vienna. Midtjylland. Brondby. Standard Liege. Antwerp. None of them could win at Ibrox. PSV won't have it easy in the play-off.
Chelsea selling Werner back to Leipzig for £25m 2 years after buying him for £50m and even worse buying Lukaku for nearly £100m then loaning him back to Inter a year later is some of the worst transfer business in recent years. Chelsea have had so many flop strikers over the past 10-15 years, probably starting with Shevchenko. Torres was a bit of a disaster too considering the money spent but at least he got that important goal against Barca in 2012.

He had a pretty solid games-to-goals ratio, which was even better when you discount substitute appearances, and has gone from strength-to-strength in Italy.

Barcelona fans: the Snyder Cult of the football world. Oh believe me, there's worse. The Big 3 in Portugal and some teams in Greece, Turkey and so on are just as or even worse than that.

They've let a lot of young players go in the last couple of years who really should have been mainstays. Just defenders alone they let go of Tomori, Lamptey, Guehi, Livramento and Colwill could be next. In another timeline Chelsea have saved a ton of money and their squad is full of home-grown names like those to add to James/Mount/Abraham plus De Bruyne and Salah who they had on their books early in their careers.
