For all the acceptance MMA (especially UFC) has gotten in the mainstream, Dana White's as big a carny as any two-bit wrestling promoter.

And he's trying to talk that BS about boxing being ruined because of pay but yet, your fighters is willing to box because that's where the payday is and you won't let them

A 20% share of the revenue is absolutely not "what they're supposed to be getting paid", and wouldn't fly in any other major sports league. Not even close.
He also f***ed them over by making Reebok the UFC's only gear sponsor, which cost many of those fighters hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Add to that his terminal lack of professionalism, and I'm astonished that Dana hasn't been forced out or completely imploded the UFC at this point.

Slightly off topic, but the NHL threw an absolute shit fit when Chara got caught on camera drinking a Coke on the bench. Pepsi was an NHL sponsor. Chara said he preferred Coke. He was told to never let it happen again. So I believe he had to transfer his mid-game Coke into a Pepsi bottle. Also, Bio Steel recently became the NHL’s official sports drink. Of course, they put a little sizzle reel together to announce this, highlighting NHL action, except it’s the off season. So all the footage features Gatorade, the sponsor they replaced, all over. Found that amusing.

You’ll never see a 50% revenue payout because of how different the company is from other sports entities but I do believe they should be getting 30-35%. Same with WWE, they should be getting paid in the 30-35% range rather then the 10-15% currently happening.

Tho WWE pay structure is at least a little better in regards to getting top talent their money and even the lower card people aren't hurting for funds I think wrestlers in TNA are maxing out at 100k while most likely your low end wrestlers on the main roster are making that plus the merch UFC has no excuse to not be paying more. Especially when you have shit like Francis talking about he was borrowing money for his training camps

Yeah Dana White can get royally f***ed with this one.
The UFC makes far far far more money than every other MMA promotion on the planet combined, their fighters shouldn't be getting paid chump change.

Dana full of shit as usual. The less the fighters make the more the owners, including Dana make, it’s a tale as old as time. He says that fighters get 20% of the revenue but there are 700+ fighters on the roster so once you pay the champs and name fighters the pay decreases substantially. And sure the top fighters are all at the big schools/academies and their training is paid for, but for the bulk of the roster they’ve got to pay for a good chunk of that. Dana is a full on clown.

It’s been established for years Dana only has a financial eye for his preferred chosen ones.
That’s one thing if you’re a wrestling booker. It’s totally different if you’re the head of a shoot promotion.
If he thinks he can make cash with you (Conor, Jon, Greg Hardy) he’ll overlook all the stupid shit you get caught up in. Otherwise, enjoy the table scraps.

Absolutely deranged that the fighters can't even get half the money when there would be no money to make if not for them. Dana's a self-centered scumbag.
