The years almost over, we've had some absolute bangers across most of the major promotions.
But what's your favorite? What would you consider THE Match of the Year?
For me? It's a close one between GUNTHER vs Sheamus, Cody vs Seth HIAC & Becky vs Bianca at WM.
I'm torn between all three of these lol

Either GUNTHER vs Sheamus or Swerve/Lee vs. Acclaimed.
Sadly, I haven't had the money to re-subscribe to NJPW World, so I haven't seen anything from them this year.

FTR-Bucks on Dynamite is my sentimental pick, because I was in the crowd for that.
Other picks are Bianca/Becky at Mania, Anarchy in the Arena (just for the spectacle of it), Sheamus/Gunther, Acclaimed/Swerve in our Glory, Seth/Cody I (I haven't seen the third and don't remember the second), and FTR/Briscoes II.

MJF/Punk - Revolution
Gunther/Sheamus - Clash at the Castle
Elite/Dark Order & Hangman - All Out
Meanwhile, Knoxville/Sami is the most fun I had watching wrestling this year.

Hm - Max the Impaler Vs Pom - doesn't feel right putting a squash match on the list but equally was the most perfect wrestling match of the year.
I'm sure I've forgotten something especially as Danielson is weirdly missing from the list. Feels like there could be at least another 20 on here this year.

Off the top of my head probably Death Triangle v United Empire from a few weeks ago. Bucks also had a banger match with Lucha Bros on Rampage can’t remember when that was.
Gunther v Sheamus & Roman v Drew from CATC are both up there for me. The Sammy v Cody ladder match was also phenomenal. Brock v Roman from Summerslam, Becky v Bianca & Sami v Knoxville from Mania all deserve mentions.

My top two are Jay White vs Okada from Dominion and FTR vs Briscoes 2 out of 3 falls. I have to go back and re-watch both to decide which one I like better.

Tough one my top 5 right now in no order are Bucks vs FTR, SIOG vs The Acclaimed, or Briscoes vs FTR 1, Hangman vs Danielson (Jan), and Cassidy vs Osprey.
