We really need to figure out what we want from wrestling promotions in terms of strong champions and clean finishes, because I’ve been under the impression that this was a blanket request for all matches, but in fact it seems like it should only apply to specific wrestlers.

Bianca has been on top long enough to where she should start having some flaws shown that heels can exploit to win or get one over on her. She's only been pinned SIX TIMES during her entire main roster stint. And outside of her first Summerslam match against Becky, has never looked vulnerable. And even after that Summerslam moment, she basically no sold it and her booking became even more protected.

Bumping this, because while it was predictable that Iyo would lose clean, almost all of her offense was countered and Bianca did her no favors in actually selling whatever Iyo did get in. Awful. It was a good, back and forth match with the face champion winning going into Sunday. Iyo didn’t look awful at all.

Where like 95% of Iyo's offense was countered. She never got a real moment to build up steam or look good. All of her big moves were pretty much countered by Bianca, and easily at that. Not once did I even suspect Bianca was in any sort of danger, and nor did anyone else it seems.

It is only good booking when your favorites do it

I just wonder why the hell they had Bianca take out Dakota and Bayley singlehandedly instead of having Asuka and Alexa get involved.

I know you get stressed with this stuff but you can't please all the people all the time. It's mostly a small part of the IWC complaining about Bianca's booking. Live fans still love her and have no problem with her as a strong champion. Even Canada which is known for booing faces was fully behind her tonight. I'm one of the people who want her to lose at Extreme Rules but I fully admit that's just personal preference on my part. The actual ticket buying audience are still solidly behind her. It's starting to remind me of babyface Becky when online before every feud you'd constantly hear "people are getting tired, this will be the one when fans turn on her" but in the real world they just kept on cheering her.

Your new heel faction doesn’t look like a threat and gets defanged constantly. Bianca is booked so dominant it’s hard to buy her being in real trouble.
The tag champs are still being used as cannon fodder in singles feuds (which is why Sasha and Naomi left). This is just boring at this point. Poor Dakota and Iyo do NOT feel like stars even with the belts.

The whole “EST” Gimmick means she can almost never look weak or truly in danger. She doesn’t even really sell it in promos either.

I was thinking maybe the issue is a match layout thing rather than just the wins, per se. Liv's had a lot of wins this year, Sasha and Naomi had a lot of wins this year before departing, but Bianca matches are just structured around her dominating unless the heel messes with her hair. No issue with her beating Iyo, but there wasn't really any suspense when it was Bianca kicking her ass for fifteen minutes.
And personally I would have liked a little more urgency or passion to her promo tonight, but it was basically just her usual.

I just find it weird that we have apparently both extremes when it comes to dominant heroes (Bianca) and dominant heels (Roman and the Bloodline) going on at the same time.

So she can kick everyone's asses three on one and has beaten everyone in the division over and over and over again but I guess it's okay because look if anything happens on a show that isn't WrestleMania then WrestleMania doesn't mean anything or something.

If one isn't into her I get it, I was never a Hogan fan (even as a kid). With the way Damage CTRL have not gelled together and Bayley herself being outclassed both personality and ring-wise - I've never bought into her as a top talent - I don't feel bad one bit about her not being champ. If the main arguments for a title reign ending is "it'd be something different" or "staleness should be prevented before it sets in" (despite little to no fan backlash/evidence of it) then I'm not convinced. How is it harmful to a division to have the most over talent on top?
