I’ve long felt these two are bozos. This does not dissuade me from my opinion. They might be bozos but they're over as hell. Freezing them and not booking them is a huge mistake on TKs part. Right now, would you put them over The Acclaimed?

Could be a work but it has been a hot min since FTR felt like they were doing anything

Problem is, AEW's tag division is too good, lol.

If this is a work, then this disgruntled employee angle wrestlers play in AEW is getting very tiresome. It is not even worth doing as TK isn't a consistent on-screen character. I'm sure this is a work as this has been FTR's like main sticking point on tv forever... but there are like 4 other people doing the disgruntled thing?

Andrade doing it in his tweets but not on screen. MJF has based it around his character. Thunder Rosa to an extent playing up the sandbagging stuff. Brian Cage hasn't said anything for a hot min after they put him in a group

I wouldn't blame FTR if that was the case. Like them or hate them, they were incredibly over as hell yet it seems like they have been actively pushed to the sidelines. This could be a angle and I wouldn't be shocked if it was but who knows.

I'm kind of on two minds on how FTR is being (not) used, in that I do think it's pretty stupid how much their momentum has been completely squandered but I also don't especially actually mind not seeing more of them.

I seriously don't get what people want FTR to be doing after some of these responses.

I seriously don't get what people want FTR to be doing after some of these responses. Where I am, too. Like...they've got three titles so that they can be presented as a big deal without being AEW tag champs and freeing up that scene, which has worked out great for a lot of other wrestlers. The whole "ranked #1" thing has also been a way to put them over in a different way than giving them the AEW titles. Tony Khan has effectively put his thumb on the scale for them to probably win the Observer Best Tag Team award this year. Like, I do get the complaint about lack of two-on-two tag matches, but everything else has been pretty well calculated to make them look good without locking down the tag title scene. I'd rather FTR lose out on the two-on-twos for a few months than not get the current white-hot Acclaimed.

They're legit my favorite tag team ever but they make it so hard to like them by how they act

We're not seriously doing "FTR are being wasted" are we? They were the strongest booked tag team until The Acclaimed took off big time. That's not so much "new toy syndrome" as discovering one of your toys can make you huge amounts of money.
Even then though, they still hold multiple belts and with The Bucks still on hiatus are the #2 team by a big margin.
That's not touching how much of a work this obviously is.

It looks like the combination of people jumping on the Hunter bandwagon along with Punk/Elite drama that made fans sour on AEW that some are acting like the company is WCW 2001...

Or even some people saying that AEW is just as bad or even worse than TNA. It's ridiculous.

I mean, if it is a work, it's a pretty paint-by-numbers, unimaginative work, also probably not something you should be running with an apparent face tag team.

To note I was there live. FTR had a phenomenal main event and were super over as baby faces. TK needs to do something because he's risking turning the company heel in the eyes of their audience.
Also, this was FTRs first 2v2 tag match since... June, maybe July? And that is wasting them
