Durag and headband pretty much interchangeably, then early nWo Hollywood.
Something about WCW Hulk Hogan, it's such a little thing but they used a different, almost fluorescent yellow which always annoys me when I see it.

I think collectively, most people sort of see a mash up of his '86 look along with his first dewrag.

I was born in 92. It’s pretty wild to me that if I started watching wrestling as a child at age 5 or so then I would of been introduced to Hulk Hogan as a heel

We have to clarify that the ends of the headband have to be in his mouth when he’s making his way to the ring btw.

Brother, that's not Hulk Hogan, brother.... Dude's right. Bastion Booger? Maybe. Could also be Mark Henry or Mr Fuji. But I think we can all agree that he is definitely not Hulk Hogan. Gorilla Monsoon Memorial "That could be Giant Baba" mention also applies. I go with 1984 White "American Made" tank top, matching headband and (best match) light blue tights, kneepads and white boots.

I'm a child of the 80s, so 85/86 is still the first image of Hogan that pops into my head. I am too... but I generally think of the Durag first for some reason (probably because it became his go to after that point)

No love for the Hulk Hogan army fatigues attire that Hulk wore for his Desert Storm matches with Slaughter and his “five star classic” War Games match that he had in 1995? (BTW, when I say “five star classic”, I mean all-time stinker.) One person on this board said that had to be the most killer look Hulk ever had.

Prob between 86-88 for me. I dont think it was until 86 that he permanently adopted Red and Yellow. He used to come out in white, blue etc for quite a while after winning the title.

Looking at those pics, man Hogan's legs just shrunk down to sticks by the end. I think it's more noticeable because his upper body managed to keep a good amount of mass to it.

'86 Huck Hogan is the only acceptable answer. His skin was not yet a hot-dog color purse.

No ‘war bonnet and license plate’ Hogan?

I always wondered if the white/blue were an attempt for a more traditional “good guy” color scheme as opposed to yellow being the “cowardly” color. Hulkster was the exception that proved the rule, I guess.

No ‘war bonnet and license plate’ Hogan? Remember when he slammed Andre at the Roman Colosseum in front of 150,000 screaming fans?

Hulk Hogan is shit. You can put a pretty bow on shit, or wrap it in shiny wrapping paper. At the end of the day, shit is still shit. Brother! Oh my god, Verne Gagne has risen from the dead and is posting on FAN!

Hulkster was the exception that proved the rule, I guess. Likely. They definitely experimented with a few color schemes for him. I'm not sure when or why Vince and Hulk eventually settled on red and yellow though I know the Hart Foundation was doing the same thing, coming out in red, blue, yellow etc until one day they tried pink and black...and when they got to the back Vince was like "That's it. Those are your colors". It was all probably a gut instinct by Vince
