I always wondered if the white/blue were an attempt for a more traditional “good guy” color scheme as opposed to yellow being the “cowardly” color. Hulkster was the exception that proved the rule, I guess. Likely. They definitely experimented with a few color schemes for him. I'm not sure when or why Vince and Hulk eventually settled on red and yellow though I know the Hart Foundation was doing the same thing, coming out in red, blue, yellow etc until one day they tried pink and black...and when they got to the back Vince was like "That's it. Those are your colors". It was all probably a gut instinct by Vince Some WWE documentary puts it down to Jimmy Hart. Red and yellow are McDonald's colours and all over America. Hulk should have the same colours as he's a Real American

When he stopped dying his eyebrows blonde in the early 90s and lost a lot of muscle (and completed his balding process to full skullett) he started to look weird and drastically different. Never liked his look from there until he joined the nwo and then he looked badass. He also looking terrific in 2002.
