That main event is extremely random and I have no objections to it whatsoever.

A PPV build with some blood would be insane though I think it's a case where an awful unfortunate ending to what should have been an AEW dream match led Tony Khan to book this dream match as a make good, storylines be damned.

I kind of keep looking at Dynamite cards lately looking to see if there's anything that'll make me curious to check the show out and then going, "Nah, nothing for me this week." Wonder if I should stop bothering to even look and see what they're doing.
Though it might help if JAS vs. BCC would ever freaking end. It was old months ago and basically any sign of any sort of interaction between the groups at this point is an instant turn-off to me.

Even though I see no way that Mox drops the title, seeing Penta wrestling for the world title just feels right

I know Penta's not winning the title, but I'm still excited for his match against Moxley.

I know Penta's not winning the title, but I'm still excited for his match against Moxley. Yea. Should be good. Considering both mens styles and the fact it’s a title match, it could be really good. Only thing that bothers me (similarly to the Cage/Wahrdawg match) is that a little sizzle (see: story) to the steak could have made it so much better. Even if it was just a week of build up or whatever 🤷

Eddie?
If they are smart they can use it to plant the first seed for a Eddie/MJF feud for the title after Full Gear

I really hope AEW has a full storyline reset after Full Gear. I think the only lingering dragging storyline right now is JAS vs BCC as was noted. While the individual shows have been fun week-to-week, there's just still something missing that I can't put my finger on re: the overall storylines. It still just sort of feels as disjointed as it has for much of this year but especially since the Punk debacle.
Also a broken record, but the ROH stuff still kind of feels weirdly disjointed and I really do hope they get the ROH show already so they can split that off properly. That being said, angles nonwithstanding, I'm by no means advocating for a hard brand split for the roster at least, if nothing else the ROH addition has given us some very creative matchups. Though I also wouldn't be opposed to just moving Dalton Castle onto the main AEW roster proper.

Riho vs. Hayter is exciting (even if I fear Hayter might take another loss here).

Riho vs. Hayter is exciting (even if I fear Hayter might take another loss here). Seems like a pretty blatant "whoever wins gets the PPV title match" result. They either go with the story of child prodigy vs. child prodigy for an attempted MOTN with Riho/Storm, or they do something with Hayter (hard to suss out what because there's like three good directions and not a lot of momentum for any of them).

Hayter should not challenge for the belt again unless she’s actually going to win imo. She already lost to Toni once.

Hopefully Mox vs Penta is the start of a BCC/Death Triangle feud with the blowoff a Mox/Penta Cero Miedo match.
