And you are allowed free reign but if you pick a licensed property that regularly makws 100s of millions of dollar in box office reciepts you will be guaranteed to not make a profit (so a Star wars remake won't make you a billion in gross). Also you don't have to put the 100 million into one movie but as many as it takes. Andyou Will make the money back no matter how stupid

I like the way you're thinking, I've always been a sucker for big ridiculous ensemble cast movies. I'd go for yet another remake of Death Race 2000 but with a little bit of Sharknado seasoning, in the sense of getting pretty much every single celebrity and motorsport driver that'd be willing to make fun of themselves to jump onboard. Alternatively, a ridiculous martial arts tournament flick done like a martial arts version of the Expendables. |

While I’m fine with it never happening as the original is a true classic, but a modern remake of Forbidden Planet could be fun.

First we will do a remake of Them!
I need to see proper CGI giant ants crawling all over Los Angeles landmarks.
Follow that up with a reimagining of the made for tv classic Killdozer
Because a possessed and murderous bulldozer is something the world needs to see again.
And if there is any money left, we give The Giant Claw another chance
This time with a less silly looking monster.
