They should have done away with drinks at sports arenas an eternity ago, but the venues know they can charge such an unhinged mark-up for bottom shelf beer that it's never going to go away, so people will still keep getting very drunk and doing dumb shit like this. Sports and beer kinda go hand in hand. Go with a group of friends and have some drinks is a major part of the appeal of going to live sports. Pro sports would be fine, but your smaller, regional sports would be severely impacted by stopping the sale of alcohol as the atmosphere and just getting out with friends is a big part of the appeal of going to stuff like junior hockey or Double A baseball

This was my event, and I didn't even realize it happened until I got home and saw it talked about on Twitter because I couldn't see ringside that well due to the crowd.
All i can really say is imagine spending around $360 for ringside tickets just to get yourself, your husband, and your child kicked out by security.

And I thought the only throwing being done in Peoria would be ayumidah throwing herself at Seth Rollins. I would've but just as his match started, security started hanging out in my section yelling at everyone not to film, only take pictures. I think it was a C-O-N-spiracy. They didn't come around before, or after his match. I've got my eye on you, Civic Center staff. So Seth's match started just after Drew's match, which is probably why security was getting in people's faces more. I guess that makes me feel better, but yeesh the timing of it. Stupid woman throwing shit. Yeesh.

The diarrhea chant I don't have a problem with as she's a heel but throwing drinks is stupid and could have really hurt Scarlett or someone else.

Remember the guy thrown out of Disney World for not complying with COVID safety? As he was arrested he was screaming about how they couldnt throw him out because he paid 15,000 for his vacation. Its that customer is always right BS making people think because they spent some money they are untouchable. Funny aside the Disney guy is from my city. And Peoria area is where we plan to move in a couple years.

Do WWE shows have a "Code of Conduct" that they put onscreen before the show starts? Because AEW does and I've noticed the reported incidents like this have become almost non-existent.

I've been to several sporting events where people throw stuff at the ring/field/ice etc. You would think the fact that you have to take out a loan to afford a beer at these places would be a deterrent, but I guess not.

Pretty sure they print some stuff on tickets. And its been years but I seem to remember a ring announcer going over some rules in the beginning of a show.
