Shoutouts to one of the most cursed years in WWE history for dudes rebranding. I feel like I'm still missing a whole bunch and I genuinely tried to get all of them.

Ray Traylor getting brought back as "Boss Man" but no longer being "Big" has to count for something. Also, while searching for images of Big-less Boss Man, I found that he worked in the most mis-matching pants ever during this run.

He also sometimes wrestled in a dress shirt with enormous amounts of armpit sweat.
Honestly, most of these aren't so bad, but the Katie Vick angle did enormous damage to Kane. Which is funny now, but certainly not at the time.

I don't know if it's peak worst but the first two that came to mind are: Reverend D-Von: Against Masturbation Farooq: Fan of Masturbation
Also Normal Guy Kane going "YAHOOOOOOO!!!!" when he got a kiss from Terri

Reverend D-Von and Billy and Chuck at least got fun theme songs.
Bradshaw just was basically being a New Blackjack again, which, ehhhh.

f***, just remembered an incredibly obscure one that has to be mentioned.
Billy & Chuck after the wedding hoax where either their gear or their hair didn't match anymore cause they were serious straight competitors and oh my god Faarooq beat the dogshit out of Chuck Palumbo the one time I saw that

Refresh my memory, what was the difference between "The Big Valbowski" and "Val Venis?"
Was it just a name and haircut difference?

Also, I'll always be curious what the short-haired Test & Stacey vs Raven storyline was going to be. Like, Stacy making Test embrace the fans is the one and only time I found the post-Stephanie Test potentially compelling, and Raven knew how to bring the best out of his opponents. I feel like there could have been something there, at least something more than Test shilling for Girls Gone Wild followed by a decades-long Steiner feud.

How about Batista going from Deacon Batista to angry foster child who sees Ric Flair as a father figure Batista?

Wasn't Bossman at a point doing a thing where he wore a suit and was Booker T's manager for like two weeks?

A lot of shitty repackagings but I went with them taking all mystique and intimidation factor away from Kane.

Billy & Chuck after the wedding hoax where either their gear or their hair didn't match anymore cause they were serious straight competitors and oh my god Faarooq beat the dogshit out of Chuck Palumbo the one time I saw that I vaguely recall this and looked it up out of curiosity. On the October 12, 2002 Velocity episode (floating out there on certain mega popular video website), Chuck came out with a generic black and white “Billy and Chuck” tron, with a look that didn’t match his official graphic (still the bleached hair and red undies), and a generic theme I never heard, and did the job to “Ron Simmons”. I had no idea Farooq was billed under that name in WWE. The funniest thing to me is that Ron doesn’t have the APA theme but rather the same stock theme that Chuck Palumbo later used in 2004 in his short Heat run as the car guy (also used in Smackdown vs Raw 1).

I had no idea Farooq was billed under that name in WWE. He stopped using the name Faarooq for awhile because of the name being shared with an Al-Qaeda training camp. Really random and kind of especially strange that he swapped back to it later but WWE just kind of does that sometimes, like that month or so Apollo Crews didn't have a last name because there was a shooting or something with a guy with the last name Crews.
