What are they doing with Corbin?

He's on his 7th repackage. They stuck him with JBL for some reason....and thus far, it's pointless. 

Is there a big feud coming? Is there *any* feud coming? What are we doing here?

I feel for the guy. The Lone Wolf persona was the only time he's gotten over, and while he's always been featured, each new tweak to him seems to be diminishing returns.

They really need to either stick him in a tag team or turn him face, if not both. Him as this upper midcard jobber-to-the-stars heel is just so unbelievably played out, especially since while they keep reinventing him he always slots into the same role, generally acts the same, has the same basic look, and uses the same moves. Nothing about him ever actually meaningfully changes.

Either of those sounds fine.  He's never had a face run and frankly, it really couldn't hurt him at this point.  As for a tag team? He and a returning Rick Boogs (whenever that is....any update on him, btw?) could be fun

I think his earliest days in NXT he was sorta booked face. Only it was in super-quick matches with the fans counting how many seconds his matches lasted.

He was heel by the time he was feuding with Samoa Joe and has been since though.

If he's not behind the Uncle Howdy stuff, and you wanna keep the "money" look for Corbin, I'd say a face turn tag team where Cameron Grimes sways him away from JBL (new money outshining old money) and Grimes and Corbin work together.

I quite enjoyed in NXT when his character was that he really hated indie guys

What pisses me off about Baron Corbin is that 90% of his gimmicks are boring shit or are based around a dog food fetish... but then he gets a gem like "I will kill a man for a can of Ravioli" Corbin and they immediately decide "naw lets have him be a lucky gambler instead". And then he starts to figure that shit out and BOOM immediately they morph him into something else.


Come on brah. It's like there is this giant internal rib going on to make sure the dude sucks and always has the lamest gimmick.

And it's unfortunate because he seems to really "get" what he's doing out there.  He's a perfectly good hand in ring.  He deserves better

I caught his RAW promo, dude has regressed alot with JBL. He's never been a great promo guy , but damn it was rough. I feel like I could see him trying to remember lines and he was mumbling pretty bad too.
