I haven't watched WWE much anyway for the last few years, joining friends for the occasional show and seeing clips on Twitter. But I have bought the games since Smackdown 1, and... Yeah, not doing that any more. I can resist what ever bit of urge i once had to watch WWE. Might be difficult to resist the urge to buy the games though

They couldn't even make it to Wrestlemania 40 where they could have made it be the very last and go out with a bang. Instead they go out taking a bite out of a shit sandwich.

It doesn't, its like me going to a Leeds United match, and saying i don't support them. Watching = Supporting I suppose what I mean is I may catch it in passing. Maybe watch an episode. But they will not be receiving a dime of my money. Viewership... Unless you watch a stream of WWE, is still supporting pal

A quick thought -
I do suspect Vince having come of age as a businessperson in an era of little if any corporate accountability does not understand the backlash among the fanbase and wider population this sale will likely cause. Then again, I doubt he cares if he gets the rumored price. It is sad but it would appear Mr. Mahon the character and Vince the person have a lot more in common than we ever thought at least it appears so given recent unseemly events...

The Saudi government, in my opinion, is one of the most vile and corrupt organizations on Earth. The fact WWE is in bed with them makes me sick to my stomach. Those blood money shows were bad enough, but this is just too much to take.

As much as I love NXT, I just don't think I'd be able to do it anymore. Yeah this is where I'm at. It's just too much.

This will be the final straw for me. At least with Triple H & Steph around, there was some hope of the company turning the corner, but with that possibility extinguished, I have no reason to continue following WWE in any capacity.

Spoke to my bro and sister-in-law and whether we go to Mania (which I got for tickets after Summerslam) is up in the air depending on if/how many talents walk out and if Vince screws up the storylines we were interested in. If they let the stories flesh out, then we'll likely go as we've never gone and it'll be a trip being there for the last Mania before everything gets turned over. If it gets real bad or we feel too dirty I'll resell.
After that I can do without. Did so for the most part from 2007-2014.

Sadly yes. For the simple fact that I don't feel I'd be able to look my 2 daughters in the eyes (let alone my wife) if I continued to support WWE if they're bought by the Saudi government. My family is far more important to me than WWE. There're plenty of other wrestling companies for me to watch so I'll have more time to watch FITE TV and AEW for example at least.

I refuse to support a company owned by a government that puts my friends in the LGBT community in fear of their lives. Regardless of how many years I've dedicated to watching, that's one line I refuse to cross.

Probably will watch PLEs as long as I have Peacock and highlights on Twitter/YouTube, which is basically what I do now. If/when my Peacock, or the WWE/Peacock PLE deal, runs out I'll likely stop at that point.
Thought about attending WrestleMania if I could find a deal on the secondary market but will pass on that if WWE is controlled by the Saudi Public Investment Fund by then.

I've been done since AEW became a thing. Didn't come back for the Good Guy HHH takeover because the Saudi deal still existed and I never really believed Vince was going to stay away.
If this is legit, I feel for the talent who either choose to leave on principle or are given the boot. I feel for any fans who are just now grappling with the idea of walking away from a product they've enjoyed all their lives. For both groups, however, there's a silver lining in the fact that non-WWE pro wrestling is in a pretty good place right now.
The empire built by the out-of-touch old sex pest isn't the be-all and end-all of pro wrestling, despite his best efforts. There are options.

Out of curiosity I’d probably watch RAW or Smackdown after the deal is finalised to see what the reaction is but as for spending any money on the product after this? Nah. Done.

I was already about 90% read reports, 10% watch anyway.
But yeah, I'd probably make that 100%.
