One that still pisses me off is 2016 when the camera was on Reigns the entire time during AJ’s debut. Same happened in 2020 with Edge’s return except they fixed that one.

I firmly believe the right theme and titantron add to a Royal Rumble entrance. One of my favorites was in 2001 when Austin’s music hits and the tron shows him coming around a corner through a burning building, as if he’s heading to the ring.. Or when Cena came back early from his torn pec in 2008 and the first thing you see is a shot of his chest with his opening fanfare in the background

Muhammad Hassan comes out to the both commentators not wanting him to win to be ganged up and thrown out by everyone, promptly kicking Scotty 2 Hotty ass in the entrance way as he comes down next.

Stone Cold returning to the match at the same time Bossman's music hits.

That time they did a stadium show so the entrance was so long they put the hosses on a golf cart and cut the camera away

One that always stays with me is from 1990 when midcarder tag team guy Bret Hart gets a main eventer level pop from the crowd. It's so loud Tony Schiavone on commentary lets out a legit wow.
Pretty much from that moment Bret got considerably more protected booking.

1994 when Macho Man arrived to halt Diesel’s rampage. While a never-before-seen path of destruction it was, Diesel was mainly tossing jobbers like Virgil and the Smokin’ Gunns out of the ring. The crowd went nuts for a real star coming out to stop this goon. They even had a great camera shot of Diesel giving the “Ohh shit!” look on the video wall as Macho Man comes out.

Also, I still have no idea why Jeff Jarrett attacked Owen Hart in 1998 Dude, I just watched the 98 Rumble yesterday and had zero recollection of that happening.

This is a low-key one, but I'm always tickled by Nikolai Volkoff bounding down to the ring early only for the referees to hold him back for a full 2 minutes whilst he watches on benignly as Boris Zhukov is dumped over the top.

Vince’s misuse of Savage in his final two years was one of his biggest mistakes. The guy was massively over and could still go. He would’ve been a perfect guy to pit against Bret or Yoko to legitimise them as main eventers.

One of my favourites is when Undertaker's music hit and EVERYONE in the ring just stopped what they were doing and Orton looking scared lol. Wish I could remember the year but that was a fun one in terms of WTF would everyone JUST stop lol.
The pop for Edge's return was awesome.

I still insist it was Macho Man's leg we see in the entrance when he is missing from Rumble '91. I imagined him about to come out, and Warrior pulled him back in.
(I am told it was Animal's leg...but I like my story better ;-))

An underrated one from the 2020 Rumble:
During the portion of the match when Brock was running through everyone one at a time, Shelton Benjamin came out next and you could hear Paul Heyman audibly screaming "HEY SHELTON IT'S YOUR OLD FRIEND: BROCK LEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSNAR!" Funny and also a nice call back to when Brock and Shelton teamed together in OVW.

Was it ever determined whether that "mistake" was planned or not? It made sense as a planned moment to show viewers that only one guy could enter at a time and that waiting your turn was strictly enforced. But on the other hand, it doesn't seem out of the question that Nikolai or Muraco legit screwed up.

Reading this thread made me realize how unkind the Rumble match has been for Scotty 2 Hotty.
