I don't remember if she was any good, what was the name of that super-tall girl on the all-female NXT? (Gameshow era) I know who you are talking about but I can't remember her name. Apparently she was pretty bad although I never saw her wrestle as she was released before she could even have match. IIRC I think she was like 6'6" or something. I don't know how that would've worked in that I don't really see how anyone could have match with her, with her being so much bigger then everyone else. Sort of similar to why Giant Gonzalez bombed as along with him having no instincts there was nothing anyone could do with him as he was over a foot bigger then even the other tall guys on the roster. I looked it up; Alosia, Now Isis the Amazon, She was 6'8 and yes she was awful

I'm not a fan but Raquel seems to be pretty over to me.

I'm not a fan but Raquel seems to be pretty over to me. She's really not. You can hear a pin drop whenever she makes her entrance, and her charisma is pretty much non-existent. It was pretty damn telling when no one really reacted to her coming out at the Rumble (or when she got eliminated), when they popped for Roxanne (and booed when she got eliminated). Despite both being from Texas.

Her entrance pop at the Rumble was actually pretty good too.

Roman puts Sami in the sharpshooter. As the turns him around to lock in the move. Kevin Owens comes out of no where to attack Roman. Montreal Screwjob is finally put to rest and never to be done again.

I think Roman vs Sami should be for one title. Only because we KNOW we're getting Roman vs Cody at Mania, so no way is Sami taking both titles.
But if it was just for one title, it would at least put *some* doubt into the result. It's a really minor gripe but just a thought I had

I have a feeling next week MVP is going to convince Bobby to have the Brock match at Wrestlemania instead of EC because it'll make him more money on the bigger show.
If you were going to have a rare B PPV Brock match I'm not sure this one needs it. Roman/Sami alone is enough to sell the show then you also have two chamber matches.

Well Carmella is the last woman in the Chamber match. So basically unless Triple H suddenly decides that "now is the time to push Raquel to the very top", this should be a fairly easy win for Asuka. And she should probably go on to win the title as well because woo boy that promo from Bianca tonight was pretty not great. It wasn't bad, but definitely a weak promo and she came across as incredibly unlikable.

My guess is Brock / Lashley happens on this show as when the Hurt Business reunites then they do some kind of gimmick match at Mania to end the feud.

They at least could've put Piper in there to add a hoss who can work. Would've been more interesting then Carmella doing the same annoying heel schtick she's been doing for the better part of the last seven years. Or heck even put Chelsea Green in there as she's basically the same character and is much newer and fresher. Having her get killed immediately by Asuka or Raquel would've at least been a funny comedy spot. Carmella and Natalya are getting close to 2015 Big Show and Kane territory for me. Both are stale and nobody cares about them anymore but yet they keep getting spots like this over talents who could use it more. I'm not usually a fan of having someone just steamroll everyone but honestly maybe using this method with Asuka (assuming she wins) would be the way to go if they really want to put her over as a threat to Bianca. Liv and Raquel can get some shine before you have one eliminate the other but the other three are super expendable.

Natalya did get a good pop at the Rumble. Although a lot of that could be because it was a return for her. I doubt she'll still be getting pops like that say two months from now. Also how can these newer girls ever get over if you never try with them? You have to start somewhere. Having a Candice or a Piper get PPV spots like this and have decent showings could maybe lead to something. However they aren't ever going get a chance if you keep passing them over in favor of tired acts just because they are office favorites who have more tenure.

Natalya always gets a good pop until people remember it’s not Bret’s music.

So much of this comes down to the open definition of a “push”, and how that changes depending on how much one likes or dislikes a talent. Natalya or Carmella simply qualifying for the Chamber is deemed a “push”, for example, but for Asuka or Morgan, it doesn’t. They have to win to get “pushed”.

I think Carmella makes more sense to put into the match than Piper anyway given this way you don't have to have Piper get pinned while she's being rebuilt and they seem to be immediately turning her around into an angle anyway.
Though I do think the match shows the central problem with the women's division right now in that like Asuka's really the only person, other than maybe Liv, who is at all believable as facing Bianca at Mania. Bianca / Natalya would be a reach at Backlash, much less WrestleMania.

And she is coming off of a pretty awful title run from last year, and her new character isn't really sticking either. Its a mess.

I thought Liv’s title run elevated her from lower card act to upper mid/main event mainstay, and her new character seems to be keeping her over and involved on TV when many in similar spots have faded after their title runs.

Agreed that they need to push the fresher talent as well, I think that’s why Raquel is in there. To get some shine on her.

Natalya's in there because its in Canada.
Carmella was the least interesting person in that fatal four way so of course she advanced.
Asuka is probably winning, Liv will look good and Raquel will have her spot. Nikki's the one who NEEDS a good Chamber performance (note I didn't say win, thats Asukas) badly.

I had a thought. Are Edge and Beth going to get booed?
I mean it's happened before for Edge and now with how over Rhea is and Finn is perma over so I think it'll be interesting.
