This Ahmed Johnson figure. I'm not surprised this came up. An unusual attire is expected with it being from the STOMP line, but the choice of attire is very strange. Jakks made a few strange choices for BCA figures back in the day, like The Rock wearing long tights with "The Rock" covering one leg. Talking of Jakks Rock figures I had one that came with a door. That was massively ahead of it's time when it comes to the popularity of that particular weapon.

Yokozuna's red and black hasbro figure has always bothered me since they swapped the usual color scheme I mean, he’s literally wearing those tights on the backing card. Yes but it's odd as it's the complete opposite of his normal setup and a variation that was very rarely used in ring

The moment when it was apparent that Jakks no longer cared. They were lazy far before this point, but once they knew WWE signed with Martel, they just put out less and less effort. He looks more naked here then if he was actually naked. Did they ever make a Henry figure wearing that suit in his "retirement" speech?

The first Ken Shamrock figure in 1997 had yellow kick pads and trim. I don't think Ken Shamrock ever wore yellow and certainly not that pronounced. Even as a kid it bothered me. I usually didn't buy duplicate figures, but as soon as they came out with a blue repaint a year later, I scooped it up. This is an excellent toy of Silvio Dante.

That figure looks like Mark's about to get down to some loving. It's time for the main event! More like someone is trying to bring back Sexual Chocolate. It's time for the main event!

The Hasbro red card figures were modeled after late 92, early 93 of WWF Hasbro. Yoko had a few different style outfits early in his run but I think by Royal Rumble he was established with either Black sash, white tights or black sash, red tights. But Hasbro probably already had a photo of him already in place for late 92. They were always almost a year behind in their releases so they couldn't have just made a change so quickly. The stranger choice was them doing a basic rerelease for the green card set but with white sash. Granted, it was Hasbro just putting him out because he was still over but they were losing the license so they just didn't care about making the correct outfit based on late 93.

Lana's outfit in either 2k19 or 2k20 where even she was like "I've never worn this gear in ring before, also why is my hair so short?"

Let's look at these from the SNES/Genesis era. I don't think Vader wore a singlet like that in WCW. I know that his time in WCW was before I became a fan, but it seemed that the designers thought they were making King Kong Bundy but then remembered they were making Vader and just put on knee pads, a design on the singlet, and then put the mask on his sprite. If Shawn Michaels's name wasn't on it, I would have thought the blond guy with the plain red tights was a jobber that somehow got in the game. Something told me his sprite was unfinished and the tights were supposed to have red spots on it.

The Rick Rude thumb wrestling figure. Looks more like his Tag Team Championship partner the Raging Bull Manny Fernandez

So no excuse for it. And then there's the Undertaker in the genesis version, which I had in red gloves & boots, guessing this was due to the Genesis's smaller color pallette. Still would've been better to just have him in gray gloves & boots then.

The Rock people are referring to was from the 1998 Shotgun Saturday Night set. It was all repaints and a few were pretty silly. The Godwinns were in their originally face attires just fully painted with the confederate flag which was not accurate to when they wore it as heels. They had a Savio Vega repainted with a full white top to pretend like it was him as a Boricau. Jakks could be really good when they wanted to be but in order to pump out of much as they could they just cut so many corners. If they had stuck to just a few basic series a year, like Hasbro or LJN we wouldn't have so many silly outfit choices, bad repaints, things like the alien Stone Cold head, Stomp etc...
The first few series of the Titan Tron Live guys were awful and then just a few months later they came out with "real scan technology" which was so much better. They had the capability of doing better, they just often chose not to.

Stevie never wore white biker shorts on WWE TV. They would either usually be blue or pink.

Gotta love plain blue tights Christian in SmackDown vs. Raw. Also shout out to I think it was WWE 12 where the masked Kane they put in as a make-good for how abysmal the servers were had two sleeves for some reason. It's not that he never wore that version of the outfit but it certainly wasn't what you'd expect. I think Christian had that look in SvR'06. If I recall, there was a conflict between Christian and WWE over who owned "Captain Charisma". That image IS SvR '06

I'm certain there was at least one photo of her where she had that attire and hair. I want to say WWE.com used it for a fake movie poster gallery. I remember it somehow caused some arguments online at the time. Talking about RVDs theme in svr07 what about Chris Jerichos random theme in svr09? Also I was always sort of annoyed that out of all the alts they could have given Shawn Michaels in HCTP they gave him his crappy unfinished brown tights from Survivor Series 02.

This Ahmed Johnson figure. This is actually from his aborted tree surgeon gimmick from the occupation gimmick era.

Sting only having the option for his hybrid Crow-Surfer Sting look at Bound for Glory 06 in the TNA Impact game was interesting, if only because I think everyone pictures Sting after 1996 with the black singlet with white scorpion on the sides, and it's just not in the game.

So much to unpack here. Also, they did a two pack of the Rock N Roll Express, except they painted the heads incorrectly, Ricky looked like Robert and Robert looked like Ricky.

So Undertaker looks like a background character from The Hobbit, Kane has oddly....kissable lips, and Paul Bearer looks like just sharted himself. Yikes.

Christian owns the copyright on the "CC" logo, after he went to TNA they had to remove it from his tights
