Fuddruckers is still around. I have two within a reasonable driving distance to me. One, I'm not sure how long it's been around but the other one was built only a handful of years ago.

Godfather's Pizza is still around despite having no advertising at all (that I've seen) (Please refrain from discussing the former owner).

This thread just makes me think about how much I miss Sizzler. Glorious low quality stuff at that salad bar. A staple of family dinners out, is now west coast exclusive.

Kind of going in another direction, but there were companies that completely disappeared, then somehow came back...I think a lot of them thrived regionally, but then found a way to rebound; Little Caesars disappeared for about 15 years, and now they're relatively common. Sonic has disappeared and come back...and disappeared again. Hardee's was all but dead in the late 90's, and without a doubt the worst of the big 4 burger places (McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's were all leagues better than they were). Then they changed their menu and easily became the best of the bunch. Cheddar's I thought was a local place as a kid, then it went under...and now I've seen a few of them spring back up. Dunkin' Donuts was huge as a kid, but overnight Krispy Kreme came in and became the rage, and the only doughnut chain for like a decade. Then Dunkin' Donuts came back, mostly due to their overpriced sugar drinks, and now there's a bunch all over the place. Still waiting for that Boston Market comeback story. They sprung up briefly and then disappeared, despite very yummy food. A&W was like that in Canada. In the mid-late 90’s A&W’s were primarily limited to mall food courts but they did a massive brand re-launch around 2000, aggressively targeted an older customer base with nostalgia based marketing, started opening a bunch of small market stand alone stores, business boomed and now they’re behind only McDonald’s for fast food here Always had the stand alone stores here and a food court one. Now, they’re f***ing all over the place. I love them, but they’re pricey.

Being popular in South Africa has kept them in business. To the point where the company that owned the franchise rights in South Africa was able to buy out the parent company and then move the headquarters to Johannesburg.

Oh, and McFarlane Toys is apparently still a thing. I ran across a store selling some of their figures recently and I was amazed as I had not thought about them in years. I remember working with some guys back in the mid-00's who were obsessed with their sports figures. This one for sure. I was HUGE into McFarlane Sports Picks from 2005-2010ish and used to buy them all the time, primarily NHL. I haven’t seen new McFarlane figures for sale in years. No idea if McFarlane does any sports figures anymore, but they're the ones with DC's toy license, so they put out a ton of figures still, plus some movie figures.

Doesn't Kenny Roger's Roasters still do pretty big business in southeast Asia?
