I really can't tell if this show is good or if it's just blinding me with my love for Clone Wars and Rebels. I never watched Clone Wars or Rebels and I think Ahsoka is good. If I had watched them I would probably think Ahsoka is great.

I'm still not caring much for this series. Question: Why are these Sith wannabees scared of witches/witchcraft?

As someone who didn't watch Rebels but is a huge Thrawn fan, I can't say I loved the reveal. The voice is good but something about the look and aura is... off... there's a lack of presence and I don't think the actor wears the white uniform well

I'm still not caring much for this series. Question: Why are these Sith wannabees scared of witches/witchcraft? The Sith have never liked the Nightsisters. Dooku was responsible for killing most of them and the Emperor was wary of the few who were left (I don't think he tried to kill them though, just ensured they stayed on Dathomir and kept out of his way.) Their magick comes from the dark side of the force but they don't follow the Sith or Empire so they're a threat.

The three Mothers also are particularly powerful Nightsisters, too. Baylan and Shin are Dark Jedi, but they're also nowhere near as powerful as an average Sith Lord. I'd put them on par with the Inquisitors. The Sith as of Bane's creation of the Rule of Two were on a completely different level. I'm still not caring much for this series. I like how her philosophy allows her to draw upon the Dark Side for her magick without being corrupted.

Watching it again and it really struck me how unsettling Thrawns entrance was. We have seen the bad guy making a grand entrance like that multiple times in Star Wars alone. But they managed to take something so familiar and make it seem very off. Less sci fi and more horror movie almost.

So with one episode remaining I think the biggest question is… {Spoiler}…will our heroes get stranded across the galaxies while Thrawn makes his escape or will some pissed off Purrgil show back up to help them escape?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}- Morai in live action! I know we got a shot of a convor in Mandalorian, but it wasn't confirmed to be Morai.
- So, Baylan was with statues of the Father and the Son. There was no statue for the Daughter. Anakin also popped up as a Force ghost, and if you subscribe to the theory that he's become the Father, is it possible that this planet is actually Mortis. Anakin's there, Morai and Ahsoka (the embodiments of the Daughter) are there. and that leaves maybe Baylan as the Son.

It seems like parts of the fandom are falling out of love with the Filoni formula? This downturn also kind of works backwards and shows the cracks that have always been there in many of his other projects.

This downturn also kind of works backwards and shows the cracks that have always been there in many of his other projects. I think it's less parts of the fandom falling out of love with Filoni's formula and more a case of parts of the fandom being properly exposed to it for the first time and not caring for it. I haven't seen all of Ahsoka yet, and what I have seen has been okay, but no more than that.

Overall really enjoyed the series, but come on ...
Do we really need zombie troopers?

Overall really enjoyed the series, but come on ... Do we really need zombie troopers? Amusingly enough, this is far from the first time zombies appeared in Star Wars, including zombie stormtroopers. This isn't even the first time they've appeared in the new canon as the Nightsisters had used zombie-like undead witches and other creatures in both Legends and Canon continuities before, as anyone who got to Dathomir on Jedi: Fallen Order would be all too familiar with.

True, I'm just getting so sick of Zombies being a part of EVERY media thing now (Star Wars, Marvel, insert big name franchise here).

I tapped out after the second episode. It was just boring, and the two leads sucked.
Sounds like I didnt miss much if the most creative thing they could think of was zombies...
