The final quarter hour with the Reigns 1000 day celebration averaged 2.9 million viewers.
Except for one episode that had an NFL lead-in, it’s the highest demo since the first pandemic era Smackdown.

Roman's Reign has worn out its welcome for me but they do know how to make compelling moments with the Bloodline stuff, that is undeniable, so I'm not surprised for a big moment in it, it got more viewers.
Good for everyone else on the show too since it helped them as well

Anyone else sing “if the sky turned black, it won’t matter!” out loud every time they see Smackdown draw a good rating or just me?

Year-over-year saw an increase of over 55% going from 0.47 on June 3, 2022 to a 0.73 on June 2, 2023.

I expect Meltzer and Alvarez to whine for weeks about how Jimmy Uso needs to win the title because of this spike in ratings.
Seriously though. Good shit. The story is working

If it were possible to adjust for the changing times, I wonder where this would rank among WWE's biggest and most profitable storylines.

Hey, the 3 mil I predicted.
Tell me again why they would need to change anything?
I'm laying down the next one, They'll surpass their Attitude-era ratings.
The 'Everything works nothing fails' era for the E continues

The 'Everything works nothing fails' era for the E continues I think they’ve done a good job building characters, interesting storylines, meaningful champions. Not like the product is trash like it has been at certain times and they’re falling upward.

Almost 3M for a wrestling show in 2023 is crazy and actually good for the sport tbh (whether we are sick of the Bloodline or not) PPV in India later this year with Roman Reigns headlining going to be bonkers lol

Not like the product is trash like it has been at certain times and they’re falling upward. I think it's the best run the company has had, with a crop of characters who are all super over, in 20 years. This is them being rewarded for good booking and great work from their talent. I'd be interested to know why they need to change from this and what they should be doing instead.

I get that, and I think it’s mainly because we all know it will be a huge moment. We haven’t really had a [real] big moment since when? Kofi?
