And no I can't make it to Detroit. In case someone saw my avatar and wondered. Wonder if he does the shoot with the voice modulator? ;-)

Bro looks like if Woody Harrelson did a lot of drugs and went to jail.
Er... I meant the bad kind of drugs. Aw hell, you know what I meant.

I would not have guessed Nailz had a following of any sort. The demand for his autograph is more so because he's done nothing wrestling related since late 90s, early 2000s. He's probably never done an organized signing and his website sells signed items but there's no option for send ins. Fans have Encyclopedia, posters, the Hasbro and probably DVDs and programs, magazines, promo photos. I am totally shocked he's doing a signing and in gimmick. When his picture surfaced on facebook I think his wife got a ton of questions and she quickly deleted them. I thought he would be one guy who hated wrestling and never did anything. I always wondered if a random fan in Minnesota saw him at his business and how he would react. I wonder what brought him to finally doing a convention. I know a major convention on the east coast tried him in the early 2000s and he had no interest. Did more money talk or did time heal any wounds? As others have said, he looks super awesome-a bit aged and in the prisoner outfit. I wonder if that's original. I'm sure it is because he kept it from WWF to WCW and then indy shows.

Was there any reason as to why Bossman went over in that feud since he was leaving the company? Honestly shock that Nailz is doing any kind of convention though.

The wind blew the ticket off the car, so he never knew about it. The guy got a bum rap.

I'm sure it is because he kept it from WWF to WCW and then indy shows. Oh yeah, he looks great. And the autograph stuff makes sense. I guess I didn't realize just how off the radar he's been.

Still wouldn't mess with him, even all these years later.

I would not have guessed Nailz had a following of any sort. Eh, I could see it. He's been pretty much secluded the last 2 decades, so there's a curiosity. That and the smoke and mirrors used to make his character, would make people want to see who the "real" person is. And of course there's his quick exit and the circumstances therein.

That's answered in the forthcoming shoot. Interesting. I just always figured it was just simply because Boss Man was the face and it made morse sense in the story to have him go over even though they had more plans for Nailz. Although it ended up working out with Nailz getting himself fired, it really didn't make sense for what was planned for each guy. Nailz was planned for a big feud with Undertaker while Boss Man spent the rest of his time getting jobbed out and putting over all the new heels in the company (Razor, Bam Bam, Yoko, Doink) before leaving early into 93. What makes it more weird is even though Boss Man wins the match cleanly and decisively with his finisher, all the commentary afterwards from Vince and Heenan is focused on putting over Nailz and how tough he is while they don't even make mention of Boss Man even though he's the one who won. However I guess there's a back story behind it.

I won't say anything beyond this response that might spoil anything in the shoot, but I will confirm that this isn't the reason why. I can see the logic in how you came to that conclusion, but this isn't it.

I hope he was asked about sharing a cell with Dom Mysterio After WM this year a friend and I joked about how cool it would have been if Nailz was shown on the back of the bus that brought in Dominic. Not mentioned on commentary, just sitting back there. If you knew you knew.

They were teasing a feud with Nailz and Taker after Survivor Series, they had a staredown on Superstars but Nailz was fired shortly afterwards.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ctc6STUpl7Q As officially announced last night by Highspots - NAILZ is finally making a convention appearance! He's been completely away from wrestling for 20 years, and now he'll be at Wrestlecon Detroit in August! Highspots flew into Minneapolis last week and I was able to help facilitate the filming of this preview as well as a forthcoming extensive shoot interview (his first ever) that goes deep on his whole career. Highly recommend meeting him, had a really pleasant experience and he brought such a great energy to the building. f***ing LOVE your Prince shirt.
