To be fair, it did take them a long ass time between SummerSlam and Clash at the Castle, especially when the British scene was a lot hotter than it was now a good few years ago, to remember how hot the UK market is. Especially since in between those were glorified recorded house shows. And I say this as someone who had his parents pay for one of those glorified house shows. It annoyed me so much that they treated Rebellion and Insurrexion like house shows to the extent we never even got a new Hardcore champ out of it. Just air the show on a Saturday afternoon over there and at least give us a new tag champ or something Oh, we got a lot of Hardcore champions. That was the belts that was allowed to switch 😄

As said Wembley is booked full of matches during the April/May period so they'd have to give assurances that thousands of chairs on the pitch won't damage it too much. All In is booked for after the Community Shield (traditional and IMO pointless season opener) and after that, the next game is a national side friendly against Australia in mid-October. If the pitch is a problem booking the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a no go as the season is still going on. Twickenham (National rugby stadium, been used for American football and concerts, 82k seats) might be an option. As the home of Rugby, a mostly middle and upper class sport, I doubt that the people who own Twickers are going to want to have the WWE there. It's also around 10 miles from the centre of London and doesn't have a Tube station.

It's gotta be Wembley, but it's a weird one because without a roof... you know it's gonna piss it down on April. No one there will care though. Bring it on!

Hang on a second. Anyone think they could do 2 different cities for Night 1 and Night 2? Would they go back to the Wrestlemania 2 model for one show only? This way, more cities get more Wrestlemania's? It would be fun in theory but it’s a logistical nightmare for production crew, talent, fans, etc. They also tried a Mania split between multiple locations and that was also not great, though that was the same Mania on the same day

I think WWE took a hit to their ego with how well AEW has been doing with All In and they are probably going to go all in to break whatever attendance AEW ends up with and what better way to do so than with their biggest show Wrestlemania.

That's definitely what it is, but as a Brit fan who's never been to Mania and every year dreads at the thought of how much it would be to go over for it.. I'm all for it. Thanks Tony 😂

WWE has been doing international shows for a years now. Clash at the Castle in Wales, Backlash in Puerto Rico, and MITB this year in the UK. They've been expanding out into different markets recently and a WM in the UK is something people wanted for a long time and it looks like it could be more of a possibility with WWE'S recent string of having PLE's out of the United States.
I don't see how this has anything to do with AEW having a potentially great attendance at ONE show. Plus there is more than one large stadium in the UK. And didn't Clash at the Castle get 60,000? And MITB sold out in a minute or so?

It's more than just great attendance, it is record breaking attendance and if you know WWE, someone else breaking a record they had is definitely something that is going to stick in their craw so they will try for Wembley Stadium with Wrestlemania and they will try to get that record back.

The only way I could see this having ANYTHING to do with AEW is they booked another stadium show in the UK the same month or so as ALL IN. Other than that, were looking at a potential 2 or more year wait for a WrestleMania in the UK. And who's to say it going to be in Wembley? And didn't Summerslam '92 do allegedly 80,000?

The 80,000 number was bogus and has been dismissed by many people in the know. True number is around 78,000. Considering AEW hasn't released a single match yet, its number of 66,500 is definitely going to go up when they announce matches and they will be big matches. 13,000 more might be high, but it is definitely way more already than Clash At The Castle. 2. They are going to Wrestlemania in Wembley Stadium if they are going to London. If you even doubt that, you are underestimating what WWE thinks should be a Wrestlemania stadium. 3. WWE has been historically petty, show just recently with that stupid ass contract stadiums had to sign that AEW cant be at that stadium for months before and months after their show. So you cant tell me WWE isnt going to take AEW outdoing them in ANYTHING lying down.

Yeah, none of this is a coincidence at all and with their history, it’s really hard to deny that they wanted to do something to try and cut down All In’s achievement a bit since some of the questions in press events will be “So what do you think about WWE potentially doing a show in Wembley?”. The big thing now is they actually need to make it happen or it’ll be the Elephant in the room on every UK tour. Especially when you go out of your way to have John Cena appear to do just that.

Don’t think they’re actually doing it, but who knows. Both Triple H and Cody downplayed it a bit in the post-presser.

John Cena died on his way back to his home planet and is never seen again, which is quite apt
