I used to defend Subway for years. Yeah, they aren't the best sandwich place by a long margin, but they're fine for the price if you don't have plenty of options available.

Well last time I went in there about a year ago...the only worker working wasn't wearing a uniform, had his stringy messy hair draped over his shirt that was covered in pet hair, didn't fully wash his hands and coughed into his chest. He was out of multiple toppings that he was unaware of before we asked for them, and the drink machine was broken. He was also hanging out with a couple shady friends at the only clean booth when we came in...and it was just super uncomfortable the entire time we were in there, which we just decided to eat in the car.

If that is the standard for working there now, then no thank you. There should be at least SOME level of professionalism involved, even for a job like "sandwich artist".

Had Subway last week and was certain my appendix may have ruptured. Luckily it wasn’t that, just searing gas pains that lasted like 3 days.

I don't know what's happening in the US, but here in Canada, they've decided that whole "you choose what's on your sandwich", which is the whole point of Subway, has gotten stale, now you just scream, according to the ads, "11!!!!" and they just make whatever the f*** 11 is. The same basic 9 choices, but now they choose and it's $20.

A podcast I really, really enjoy and they didn't know. It's whole format is two friends shooting the shit. One episode is basically how awesome Bill Cosby is , one of the guys had tickets but couldn't make it, so he gave them to his dad then they got into how much pussy Jared from Subway probably got as a B- celebrity. It's aged, poorly to the say the least.

They are trying down this way. Nope I pick out each thing going on my sub. But Subway is a "shit every other place in town has a line around the store and I do not feel like cooking once I get home. Guess I will grab a sub."

Last time I ate there at first I thought I had food poisoning. But I don't think that lasts 4 days.

It was a serious concern of mine. I don't wanna get too gross, but, all functions were normal except a giant bubble of gas that would not go away. Near as I can tell, I got airlocked. I always get this kind of ill feeling after Subway, it usually passes in an hour or two. This one stuck around days.
