watching the Beefcake episode it really just seems they mainly wanted to do the thing about Brutus's face exploding, and also kind've trying to get Hogan to talk to him again... I dont mind if they want to do biography fluff episodes like this as they dont really hurt anyone and sometimes it's nice to just see what happened to people. Brutus seems to at least be happy with his current wife. I just wish they'd be a bit more questioning - at least ask him about the rumours of stealing or defrauding people using Hogan's name. It seems less people are willing to talk to them, so Brutus gets a fluff episode meaning he'll at least be a known talking head for other episodes.

A person's true self is ultimately who they are in their absolute worst moment, who they are when they're on their absolute worst behavior. That's when your character as a human being is most tested. People contain multitudes. It makes total sense. But honestly, I actually think Cornette might be even worse, because I'm not sure he even *is* anywhere near as bigoted as he acts like he is, it's just that's how he farms engagement. Wrestlers are carnies, we shouldn't trust the majority of them as it is, but I think Corny possibly believes less of what he says than almost any other wrestling guy Cornette, ironically enough, seems to be playing the Vince Russo era Corny character from those 'State of Wrestling' promos turned up to 11 because that makes him the money. It's sad that being that way is how he makes his money now, and that that has destroyed his legacy for a whole truck load of fans, but that's what he's chosen to do. I agree with you that I dont think he actually believes even a quarter of what he says, but he still says it and the consequences of that are what they are.

I don't have any TV service, so I just end up watching the episodes when they finally get added to Hulu. I hate hearing there's a truly dark part to the Harley episode. I was hoping it was going to be "listen to this crazy story" kind of things, not anything involving abuse. Especially since I got to spend a bit of time around Harley and he was always so gracious. It may have been better if he had just focused on the business and not tried to be a family man in any way. I remember one year at Fanfest, Harley was mostly using a wheelchair and walking very slowly and carefully when he wasn't. In his Q&A that night, he was talking about all the time on the road, the injuries, etc., especially as it related to his time as NWA champion. He said, "You've all seen the way I get around here. I can barely move. But if I had it to do over, I wouldn't change a damn thing." For whatever reason, Hulu hasn't been adding Season 5 at all.

It's hard to keep doing big takedowns when there's nobody _in the know_ who wants to take any juicy targets down.

FRNDLY offers 40 live channels, including VICE,and unlimited CLoud DVR for 7 or 8 a month. I got it for METV and VICE. And now Dad uses it to watch 2 of the OTA western channels.

The Chris Colt episode was a trip. He was someone I'd read about years and years ago, but there's so little online about him and I was always curious to know more because the whole story is just so out there. I completely didn't expect to see Jack Fritscher show up in it, that was pretty interesting, especially talking about the significance of wrestling in eighties LGBTQ+ culture. It was also a lot sadder than I was expecting.

Watching the Chris colt episode ... the fact it starts with Giant LSD Spiders... and doesn't stop... this story is insane.

So I am now all caught up. I will give my takes on some of the episodes
Buff Bagwell episode - I did not expect myself to be compelled by this one, but this surprised me. I know Bagwell has had a reputation over the years, especially after his WWE failure before his run even got started. However, I liked hearing his side of things, as well as seeing his two ex-wives get involved. I could see that they still care about him. I also found myself cracking up at the part about him getting his...you know, shaved. However, what stood out was the bit involving shooting his father. I had read about that here, but what I didn't expect was the outcome, like not only is his father still alive, but they reconciled after that.
Brutus Beefcake episode - Another one that was interesting to watch. I can't say I was a fan of his (Most of his runs were still before I became a fan), but when it got to the parts about his falling out with Hogan, I was a little invested. Personally, I would hope they patch things up, but I have to also say that a story on Ed Leslie turned out to be more interesting than I would have imagined.
Terry Gordy episode - Now this one hit the feels. I would say this one was sadder than the one about John Tenta. I liked how both of his kids were interviewed. I never knew his daughter was a wrestler, but I remembered Jessie from WWE. I was a little bummed that Michael Hayes wasn't asked to be interviewed. Was it because he is under contract with WWE? That's what I wondered. I wondered what he would have had to say.
Harley Race episode - I know that I have heard a lot of things about him, but some of these showed that he wasn't that great of a person at times. I thought the parts about protecting your town went a little too far.
Chris Colt episode - I don't know the first thing about this guy, but man, this story was pretty tragic in and of itself. A lot of the things that happened with his father, dealing with homophobia, and then, well, I am not going to get into that. This one was very depressing.

That boo ray guy looked so familiar, I was wondering if I saw him in another documentary before, or some super fan I’ve seen before.

I thought I've seen him before too, but then I kind of thought maybe he looks like Miz's dad and maybe thats why I thought I saw him before

I skipped the Chris Adams episode since I am not familiar with him. Is it worth watching?
