Without question since he invented it, Jake the Snake had the best DDT but who's second?
The closest I can think of after him is Arn Anderson with the way he snapped it off in a second's notice.

As much as I hated the Rock back in the day I always liked the way he did his, but at that point it was "just another move" and no longer a match ender.

An underrated one is Tiger Mask's. If you remember the DDT that Lita would do as a finish near the end of her career, it was basically just like that, swinging your leg before the DDT to presumably add momentum.

I first thought of Raven, but also Randy Orton really made his draping DDT an iconic signature.

Love Raven's but an honorable mention goes out to Miz's where he chops them down to their knees and snaps it off...Certainly been done before it just stands out from the rest of his moveset every time and catches me.

Odd opinion out - I thought Mil Muertes in Lucha Underground had an amazing DDT. 95% of the roster was flippitydoo cruiserweights doing corkscrew leaping tornado DDTs as regular moveset moves and Mil just did a regular old DDT and somehow made it look like a power move.
