The Getting Over Podcast played the Miss Teacher Lady promo in their remembering Bray episode and I just started crying, it was that damn good. That's bar none my favorite promo of his. I used to rewatch it a lot just because Bray's promo and the crowd reaction, atmosphere, everything was just... incredible. They said it ranks up there with Hard Times, Cane Dewey or any other promo you can think of and I agree.

Something weird to think about is that the last 3 guys that died under wwe contract were all former main eventers, and Owen and Pillman were also big stars in their own right

I’m someone who has bashed WWE a lot in certain ways, many of it to do with business practices, and even though I’m late to it, props to them for giving all proceeds to Bray’s family. It’s not even something they’re obligated to do but it’s just a nice gesture.

I've been holding off posting here since the news broke. I still don't really have a lot to sat other than how shocking, tragic and sad this is.
I am and was a huge Bray Wyatt fan. As a grown man who has wrestling memories back to the Von Erichs - Freebirds, Tommy Rich vs. Buzz Sawyer and the Road Warriors wrecking everybody on Saturday nights there have only been a few people in wrestling that have truly resonated with me as an adult. As a young adult, the rebellious drunk late-teen early 20s me connected with Austin, Rock and D-X. Since then the rises of Kofi and Punk really hit me on a personal level for separate but similar reasons.
Bray Wyatt drew me in for a completely separate reason: He was just that damn good at what he did. From the first time I saw the Wyatt family, I was hooked. He (and they) looked, sounded and acted like nothing else that was on or really anything else I'd ever seen in wrestling. It was like Robert Denise's character from "Cape Fear" had entered the world of pro wrestling and brought with him a stable freakish outsiders determined to bring hell down on that world.
And then he only got better.
Some of my favorite memories of watching wrestling with my son, who is now 7, will always be him asking to stay up to see the Fiend appear. Again, Bray was doing stuff that was completely different than anything else and both my son and I were fully engaged in it. He would act scared but then keep moving my hand when I'd go to cover his eyes. The Fiend was actually one of the first wrestling figures I got for him.
This turned into far more rambling than I meant for it to.
The man will be missed by so many. My prayers are there for his family, friends and all those who he impacted.

Can I just say that Kim Orton has and is a huge positive influence. She imo has been a godsend for Randy and she just seems like a really lovely person.

My Facebook feed is now loaded with ads for Bray memorial T-shirt’s from those shitty companies. I’m hiding and reporting them, I know it won’t do anything, but makes me feel better in the moment. Sick f***s.

Sick f***s. Mine too. Having it to where it looks like Undertaker is holding the shirt up. I've seen 3 or 4 different ones.

I replied to one guy, saying to go to WWEShop where Bray’s family gets the money. After that, block and report.

Lots of chants for Bray all around Wembley yesterday, before during and after the show.

Lots of chants for Bray all around Wembley yesterday, before during and after the show. And some nice tributes to Bray during the show, including House of Black’s entrance.

The HoB entrance with the "fireflies" and the lantern was a really nice tribute to Windham.

A few days on and I am still numb from it. Such a huge loss to the industry.
RIP Bray. (and Terry)
