I have my fingers crossed for Nigel vs. Danielson one last time...Hopefully Wembley 2 is his swan song Honestly I did wonder if they would ever do this match but assumed not because they would feel like Nigel wouldn’t be able to hang after all that time out. Then I saw Bryan talk about smoke and mirrors after coming back early from his broken arm vs Starks and I wonder maybe if getting a 5 star Danielson/Nigel match is like Bryan’s wrestling masterpiece. I do definitely think Bryan's been at his best in AEW. While it's wild he'd never gotten a 5 star match from Meltzer, he's now had six in this short of a time, and that's kind of insane. I can't argue against it, though, since it feels like he's at the top of his game. If someone could give Nigel such a match, it's Bryan. Hopefully they can do just that, because I know Bryan has to know Nigel's pain more than practically anyone else could.

His special attraction matches will happen at least three times a year. For a guy who sees wrestling as an artform he probably can't believe his luck at the freedom he gets in AEW.

It's good that he has that, dude puts one a great show every time he's out there, but Tony really should have had the same talk, or a similar one, that he had with Omega and the Bucks and have him win a title match. Bryan is too selfless.

If Nigel is up to it, Danielson vs McGuinness one last time would be an excellent swan song to Bryan's full time career.

Part time wrestler... full time booker? Not if he has to show up to the shows.

Now that ZSJ is confirmed - Omega, Okada in the dome, Christian Cage (more for the story/promos), Shibata and Jay White. Shibata would be the most uncomfortable watch ever Not for me - it's inspirational they're both back. Plus they know how to structure a match to look dangerous without being so. Shibata's taken care of himself since returning.

wonder if WWE would loan A.E.W. (one night only sort of thing.) any wrestlers from their roster Danielson wanted to have a match with. it's possible WWE would be ok with doing so. Much more likely that AEW lets Bryan show up at a WWE event to do a one-night-only there. AEW has generally let people show up wherever they want, and Bryan is on such good terms with WWE (not using the Yes chant out of respect, not trashing them at all, etc) that I'm sure he could go back and do a match with them at some point. Sure they're hosting an "AEW guy" but he was their guy for a lot longer and it'd make them some money.

Ok, I just wanna see the guy wrestle a whole bunch of big matches from here on out. Don't care about story, I want my candy and nothing else.
These are matches/rematches I'd love to see: Kazuchika Okada PAC Adam Cole Darby Allin Shingo Takagi Kento Miyahara Kenoh Kota Minoura Kyle Fletcher Will Ospreay Sting (f*** it, why not?)

Would love to see Danielson hold the AEW Title before he calls it a day.. Even if it's just a very short run and puts over an up and coming guy for it.

Honestly to me he's the GOAT of my generation. He's the modern day Bret Hart who can have a good match with anyone.

It's great that he's going out on his terms. That's how it should be.
Bryan is easily the greatest wrestler I've see in my 20+ years of watching.
I do hope he can get atleast another short WWE run. I need him vs. this GUNTHER, this Gable and Dragunov!

Probably for the best, using him as a special attraction will make his matches mean more as well

I think his last match will be the Omega rematch. There is a reason they've held off this long on revisiting it despite having such a good match with an inconclusive finish. I reckon the plan is for it to bookend his (full-time) AEW career.
As for working matches with WWE talents, I'd be absolutely stunned if WWE (and to a lesser extent, AEW) let that happen.

I just want Bryan Danielson vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey at some point.
