Io pretty much reverse TombStoned KAIRI from ring aprin to the floor. That's a Piledriver, besides I believe Io has actually Tombstoned KAIRI in the past but she's not more popular than Linda McMahon and if the other commenter is true, definitely not more popular than Sasha Banks

It has to be Hogan over Rose cause Rose wasn't as internationally known as Hogan, wasn't he? I know Rose for being tombstoned. Pete was a huge baseball star, hall of fame level player who got caught gambling and was banned from the baseball Hall of Fame, still talked about a lot today, back then it was a huge shadow over the MLB But the point still stands. Outside of North America, Pete Rose isn’t anywhere near as well known as Hogan. Even though he hasn’t been a full time wrestler for close to a quarter of a century, there are still people around the world who when asked “name a famous wrestler” will say “Hulk Hogan”.

Definitely, but Baseball was and always has been much more popular than wrestling, it's a National pastime and Pete Rose was super popular, literally a hall of fame player...if he didn't get caught betting on a game which was a huge scandal that got massive news attention, Hogan is/was a household name but Pete even moreso, there's still plenty of debates about whether or not he should be in the hall of fame, so while both are huge names in their respective industries, Baseball is much more popular than wrestling.

Cheap answer, but The Rock has been in films that made over a billion dollars and he has definitely taken a tombstone. Same with Batista. Sure they weren't AAA movie stars at the time but you can't deny they're famous and have taken the move. Rob Van Dam was on episode of City Guys

Again, you’re missing the point. Baseball was and always will be more popular than wrestling. In the USA. Worldwide though, I don’t think Pete Rose is anywhere near as well known as Hulk Hogan. Whilst there are certainly other countries other than the US where baseball is popular but even then, Pete Rose isn’t as well known as Hogan.

Sure, in the U.S. Outside the U.S., where baseball is a niche sport, Pete Rose is a comparative nobody next to Hogan. Same goes for NFL; though it does have a bigger market than baseball, it's still largely a niche that the overwhelming majority of non-Americans pays no attention to, much less the people famous for playing it.

Pete Rose as well as Lawrence Taylor are very much in the “I only know them because they were in wrestling” category for most outside the US I’d imagine.
Same with all the baseball players that were in “Homer at The Bat”. We all remember their names even if we’ve never seen a Baseball game.

I’m pretty sure Vickie Guerrero took a Tombstone from Taker at some point (early-mid 08). Whether or not she’s considered more well known than Kairi/Io is up for discussion but it’s another name to throw out there.

Did Chyna ever get Tombstoned? Because that's probably the answer for the ladies.
For the guys, that's harder. The thread says "most popular", but people are arguing about fame, so that confuses me. Most famous is definitely Hogan, Rock, Cena or Batista. For popularity, Rock, Cena or Jericho probably take it.

No one gives a shit about any baseball or football players outside of the US.

WWE is a US company first and foremost and that doesn't even really matter because their wrestlers have been and are the most popular in the world, Baseball being more so.
But the women part of my question is the more interesting one because I'm not sure if there's a definitive answer
