I'd really like to get into the weekly show, from the spoilers and results it seems like a very good time, but the way it's all set up seems terribly inconvenient.
100% agree that Honor Club should include the PPVs. Add them, charge a bit more for the monthly fee and we're good.

Should it become a full-fledged developmental? Yeah, and this is what it should have been from the start. I figured TK would put Regal, Bryan, and maybe Punk in charge of overseeing it and developing new talent, not unlike how Regal/Dusty/HHH/HBK took the reins of NXT. AEW desperately needs a developmental territory where people can refine their craft / get more reps. Bringing in indy standouts and having them wrestle twice a month and promo once every two months isn't going to cut it for real development.

They should add an h to the name. Rioh Vs Rhio in Rhoh with JR losing his mind on commentary would get me to subscribe tbf.

In some ways the ROH title would have been better off being a main mid card title in AEW ala the FTW belt as opposed to ROH being a full blown entity again.
Legendary ROH figures could have feuded over the title but still had it wrapped under the AEW umbrella instead of this constant back and forth between the two "brands" that seemingly doesn't lead to much unfortunately

Since it started back up,pretty much the only weekly wrestling shows I have watched have been ROH and Impact.
ROH just works for me. 2 hours mostly in ring stuff. And I can watch it easy when traveling to shows on the weekends. Impact is the same since I get it off Youtube.
Athena's run in ROH has been damn good. Claudio as world champ is perfect. And seeing a motivated Samoa Joe again is great.

IMO-shit it down. Just use the footage library and the trademark for merch purposes. AEW just doesn’t have the capacity to support a separate “brand” or a developmental system.,

They need distribution for their TV or to at least move people like Athena off of that roster and onto AEW TV. It’s crazy that someone like her is wrestling weekly on a show seen by 12,000 people.

ROH, as it currently exists, is the ultimate example of the "if a tree falls in the forest..." thought experiment. When ROH on HonorClub first started back up, I had $50 worth of credit for Apple, so I figured I would subscribe for 5 months. And it was a good show. There were great matches. Athena, Shibata, Wheeler Yuta, The Righteous, and Mark Briscoe in particular were doing some of their best work on there. But, at the end of the day, when that 6th month hit and I was faced with the prospect of paying $120/year essentially for the privilege of watching Elevation, it wasn't worth the renewal to me. It's frustrating, because some of my favorite wrestlers are apparently tethered to the ROH banner right now (Ethan Page, in particular), but it is way too difficult/expensive to watch the weekly ROH content right now. I personally am hoping that the weekly show becomes part of the MAX streaming library and/or starts getting uploaded to YouTube like Dark and Elevation.

In another universe; Tony Khan persuades ROH to let Omega win the ROH title as part of the belt collector gimmick, making him the last ROH champion. After the bent collector gimmick dies out, the title is quietly retired as Tony purchases ROH’s assets. ROH skins get added to future AEW video games and AEW sells ROH compilation discs and makes money off ROH YouTube videos. A special compilation set gets released to hype a Punk/Joe reunion match after a lengthy build up. After, AEW holds the occasional ROH reunion special.

Developmental, for sure. I think, once they get on Max, they should treat ROH like WWE treated NXT at the dawn of the WWE Network (or if they just want to keep on Honor Club, do that)

They need to find something different for how they are producing content. Taping it after Dynamite or Collision isn't working at all. It's like they are hellbent on repeating the same mistakes as 205 Live did, but with an even longer show and doubling the amount of titles available on the AEW main shows.

I wish they'd tour smaller venues and make the setups feel more unique in that way. The Universal Setup actually looked good but I guess once DARK got scrapped they're just not gonna go there anymore
I also really am shocked WBD won't even give it a shot. Like they have TruTV which airs nothing, hell they even have Adult Swim which I think has always had a love for wrestling itself.
Maybe with the writers strike starting to starve network's for content, Tony can float ROH out again on a trial run year deal or something

I agree with the thought that if they still want to do the roster split, just use ROH (without actually calling it ROH) as the Collision roster, and use their belts as the titles on that show. Then the stuff on Honor Club can just be what Dark/Dark Elevation was, to give guys low pressure spots for extra ring time.
