A lot of 80s cartoons to be honest. Most of the big ones didnt air in my market, so I had to make do with whatever episodes made it to video. It wasnt until cable reruns, DVD, and youtube before I saw all of GI Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, Bravestarr, etc.

For me it is Shameless,UK and USA versions. Started USA version when season 5 or 6 had just ended. And watched all that was out in about 2 weeks. UK one I started long after it ended. Doesn't really count, cause I wasn't alive when it aired,But I got into ITV's The PRisoner really late. Was whenever SCIFI was showing it every Sunday in the early 90s. So almost 30 years after it aired.

MST3K. Didn't get Comedy Central on our cable so I wasn't able to watch it until they ran specials on another network (MTV maybe?) and then the syndicated "Mystery Science Theater Hour" show.
I watched the pilot of "The Sopranos" and thought it was too over the top (Carmella running out into their yard with an assault rife?!) but gave the series a second chance later on when I started hearing the positive reviews.

What was the issue with the location? I'm guessing cause it was a bar. They should have taken George Costanza’s advice, it was enough already with the bar.

I caught Inuyasha around the time it was on its last season. My college radio show was telling me to watch it. I caught the finale and he basically told me it’s a show you have to watch from the beginning and we caught up via his DVDs

Same situation. I rare saw the syndicated show. And by the time I got SCIFI channel MSt3k was over and in reruns on Saturdays. It wasn't until I discovered eMule that I got into MST3k. Thought of another. I never saw Living Single when it was airing. When it started my tv was for video games and playing vhs and laserdiscs. I rarely had cable or even an antenna. Wasn't until Oxygen or WE was showing it Mon-Fri for 3 hours during hte day I got into it. Cable at work only had 30 channels and early in the morning it was soaps, news, gameshows or the sitcom block on Oxygen or WE. Living Single was damn good and to me should be regarded as a much better show than Friends.

The Wire. I have box-setted the shit out of it ever since I got it though. Currently re-watching again for like the 10th time.

Breaking Bad is the biggest one. I started watching it for the first time in 2015 and was immediately hooked. Would've been fun to be there week by week with everyone else. Ah well.

Started watching Breaking Bad around 2020, Firefly around 2016 i think and Seinfeld and Superstore last year.
Tokyo Ghoul i had watched the first 2 seasons in 2017 but it took me to last year to watch all of Season 3 and i regret not watching it sooner.
Also currently working my way through The West Wing.

Not counting shows that had their runs either before I was born or before I was old enough to seek them out while they were going (Married With Children, MacGyver… Frasier kinda skirts this line), I’d say stuff like Archer, Always Sunny and Parks And Recreation.

Alphas. Just rediscovered it and am halfway through season 1, but knowing it ends in season 2 dampens the experience a bit.
I got into Doctor Who at the height of its popularity in the US, around the 50th anniversary. And basically a year after I started watching, the hype around it died down lol

Parks and Rec. A friend told me how awesome it was so I wound up watching the 1st two seasons when it was on Netflix back in like 2012, and I've been in love with it ever since.
I got to breaking bad super late, too

I'm guessing cause it was a bar. They should have taken George Costanza’s advice, it was enough already with the bar. I can be a dummy sometimes. When I saw location I thought of MA rather than the bar. That's a good Seinfeld reference. It's so funny seeing George try to give George Wendt and Corbin advice only for them to talk trash about him on the talk show.

Started watching Breaking Bad in 2018. Don’t know why I waited so long to be honest.
Parks & Rec I saw on a flight back from America in 2013 and loved it so I seeked out the DVD’s when I got home.
Got into Community, Glow & It’s Always Sunny during the pandemic. Loved all of them.
It’s probably more of a thing with American shows I can’t remember any British ones I was late to the party for other than the ones made before I was born obviously. Spaced I remember seeing bits and pieces of before getting the DVD’s when I went to University in 2004/5.

Community is another, had heard it was good. But was 22019 when I found season 1 dvd cheap. Watched that over a few days and then we tracked down every other season.

Game of Thrones
I eventually caught up before the last two seasons, which then made me wonder why I even bothered.

I didn't watch Breaking Bad until 2018 and I watched Lost during the Covid lockdown. I'm kinda glad that I didn't watch Lost while it aired as not having to wait a week for the next episode (or months for the next season) made me less annoyed at some of the plot twists and craziness. I didn't have time to theorise on anything or get disappointed.
