I know “Honestly” by Stryper, which is probably the one song from them people would know. “Round and Round” by Ratt is an all-timer though.
Also boooo Nick Housman

I used to think 'Stryper' was pronounced 'Stripper' and was wondering why a Christian band would be encouraging making it rain at the strip club.

Never heard any of their music, always thought they at least looked cool, in a cheesy Comic Book character looking way

I've heard OF Stryper, and being someone that grew up in the 80's I feel like I should know them more than that. My high school years were through the 80s, and I knew of Stryper, maybe even saw a video or two on MTV (back when they played videos). But no one I knew thought of Stryper as "cool", or even "good". They were just there... and that was even before we knew about their beliefs. After that, saying that someone liked Stryper was a massive putdown.

Not to derail the thread from the Stryper discussion, but it sounds like crowds are still booing Jericho, Big Bill mentioned in in a backstage segment and loud boos followed
So yes, despite this being debunked, wrestling fans, the same ones who just cheered Ric Flair loud as f*** tonight, are going to try and ruin Jericho's career over unsubstantiated, untrue claims from Hausman, of course they are lol

We should be banned from social media en masse until we learn how to behave like actual rational thinking mature adults.

I'm so disillusioned with wrestling fans. Cheering Ric Flair, who has actual allegations against him including one of his accusers appearing on camera and telling her story; and booing Jericho, who had unsubstantiated allegations thrust upon him by a bullshit merchant so said merchant could win a Twitter spat. And the merchant even admitted the allegations were unsubstantiated. I could go off on this for hours.

Never heard any of their music, always thought they at least looked cool, in a cheesy Comic Book character looking way They all have their own individual stripes (Strypes), so if one robbed you, you could tell the cops it was vertical Strypes and not horizontal Strypes.

Then boo him for those merits, don't boo him because of Hausman. It'll be telling if they still try and get Kylie Rae chants going like the PPV I think there's merit to being sick of Jericho or wanting him to have a break or change it up, but the jumping point being a man trying to ruin his life with shit that isn't true is scummy and doesn't sit well with me...

Yeah at this point Jericho needs to be taken off tv for a while. I did not expect there to be backlash against an unproven rumor, while Vince and Flair got cheered

Putting the tag title match on Battle of the Belts is getting rid of it in a way that ensures the least amount of people see it. Daily's Place is also one of the smallest places they run with the friendliest crowds. Short of forgetting the title match exists this is the quietest way of doing it.
If Omega had remained healthy and all of this didn't happen, I would have been very surprised to see it on Battle of the Belts. The title matches on that show are usually thrown together in a couple of weeks but the Golden Jets/Starks & Bill match was getting some build to it.

In fairness, I think we all probably have a cringe band we fell in love with in our teens like Jericho did with Stryper and still listen to on the odd occasion. Confession time. Mine is New Found Glory. Absolutely loved them growing up, but my God are they cheesy as hell! Still stick the occasional song on though 😃 Mine is Korn. They embody every dumb lyrical nu-metal stereotype to this day, but they have some damn catchy songs. I always give Korn the free pass on that because they were the first to really do that, and it was everyone else copying them insincerely that turned the genre into a pile of wangst and 7-strings
