I read "big Hawaiian guy" and somehow my first thought was Jeff Cobb...who wasn't there. I'll say it again: once they're wrapping up their full time careers, Danielson and Joe for backstage bosses of AEW. Ever since I read his book, and everything else I've heard, I am very curious to know what backstage role Danielson would take? Samoa Joe? I want to see him book. I want to hear him do play-by-play. I want him to be in charge of catering. Man has a lot of years, and I believe his value will only increase in a backstage role.

King Curtis Iaukea III appeared before the chaos from the realm beyond where no Hulkamaniacs dwell and commanded an end to it lest they be judged by Sullivan The Son Of The Darkness, The Creator "SULLIVAN, MY SON!" "Actually, I'm AEW's Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan. Different guy. I get that a lot." "I AM ADOPTING YOU ANYWAY!" "... okay."

Seems legit? Like... I've never heard of this dude, so I don't know how reliable a narrator they are, but this lines up with the little we did know coming out of the show. I'm assuming this person isn't a diehard wrestling fan, due to them not knowing who Joe is (assuming he's "the big Hawaiian looking guy"), so when he says "there was a lot of blood", I would think any amount of blood would like a lot to him. Tony screaming and swearing at Punk sounds about right, especially if this was right after the moment that made him fear for his safety. If my I thought my life was in danger due to someone else's actions, I'd sure as hell be cursing up a storm towards them. He's a rapper and Swerve's buddy who's done entrances with him a few times, including the one at All In.

Thereâs a whole generation of guys that got famous in ROH that will probably end up comprising the next generation of backstage management across both companies. Pretty wild.

For those that dont know he is the guy that had the special entrance with Swerve See, I don't even remember that lol I'm kinda curious why he would've been in Gorilla that early in the show, though. Swerve's match was sixth on the card, this happened between the second pre-show match and the opener.

Kid says Tony Khan was screaming at Punk, saying something about him âruiningâ this moment for everyone and to âget the f*** out there and wrestle.â I really haven't been following the story since it happened... and this is the first time I've heard that Tony was screaming. Edit: wanna bet there's a dozen "BIG HAWAIIAN LOOKING DUDE" signs in the crowd when Samoe Joe wrestles? Edit Edit: and the original post has been changed, so Joe was screaming instead?

Perry "was bleeding from the fight before that". Punk was not going to go out there, "sabotaging the moment". Samoa Joe (?) was the one who said "everyone go out there, do your shit", not Khan.

So anyone milling around within ear shot would have had their attention drawn

No reason for a second-hand reddit report misremembering the circumstances when the audio is right there.
I have updated the original post to include this (I just copy pasted the text as it was sent to me by a friend verbatim. Didnât get it from Reddit đ€·đŒââïž)

And I know this having volunteered there 2-3 times for events.

Damn, havenât heard Whoo Kidâs name in years. He is or was the DJ for 50 Cent/G-Unit back in the day.
Donât see why heâd lie about this, sounds about like what weâve heard the whole time about this thing.

I can't believe the Young Bucks paid this guy to lie but didn't make sure he knew the name of the big Hawaiian-looking dude. Can't believe that Young Buck paid the Young Bucks to lie. Has that joke been made since this is G-Unit related?

This explains a lot of things. This little whoo kid must have been traumatised after witnessing the fight and that somehow led to his whoo grandad getting a job as compensation.
