So it seems like Swerve is going to get a title reign, as well as Adam Cole and eventually MJF will dethrone Cole. I think Swerve beats Joe and Hangman in a triple threat at Revolution, Hangman beats swerve for the title at Double or Nothing, Adam Cole beats Hangman maybe at All In, and MJF beat Cole at Full Gear

Even if he doesn't win it, Ospreay is going to be heavily involved in it by the end of the year.

I predict Swerve winning the World Title at Revolution, and holding it until All In.

I think the order you got is pretty spot on, with a wild Moxley appearing of course.

I think we'll get a Swerve/Hangman double turn at Revolution in a number one contenders match. Swerve will take the title from Joe at Double or Nothing.
Swerve/Cole headlines All In. MJF makes his return and costs Cole the match. Ospreay wins the number one contenders match.
Wrestledream ends with Ospreay winning the title and Omega staring him down.

Swerve's world title reign feels like a fait accompli, just a question of when than if.
Outside of that, I think this is the first time in AEW's history where the next few World Champions didn't feel so obvious. Like Joe beating MJF was genuinely shocking to me and was apparently going to happen even if MJF didn't get hurt. Maybe getting Hangman a second reign? Cole? Ospreay? Jay White? Takeshita? Hobbs? Wardlow for some reason? Would Danielson accept even a short "thank you" reign?

I hope we get a fair bit more on title changes, after MJF held the belt over the year it'd be nice to have a stretch where the belt changes hands a bit more regularly.

I hope we get a fair bit more on title changes, after MJF held the belt over the year it'd be nice to have a stretch where the belt changes hands a bit more regularly. Swerve feels so inevitable as champion it's almost a procession so it would be really interesting if he lost it on the first defence and remains a looming threat to those who follow. With the increased amount of ppvs shorter reigns make more sense. Ospreay also seems a sure thing and it makes sense for him to start at the top. Opens up Danielson's final chance at the title too. I'd expect Mox and Hangman to get involved. The later a possible champion if a heel turn justifies it. Darby and Takeshita both seemed on that path and could easily get back there if they can keep any momentum going. Mjf and Cole depends on how long they're out but I think they should stay away from the title picture. Wardlow seems more a dynamite challenger to further their angle than a legit threat.

The world title is in the best position it's been in a long time. I think Swerve is a definite champ in the making, but beyond him it's more up in the air. There are a ton of potential new champions though and you can never discount someone like Mox getting involved in the title picture again (hopefully not winning it, but just as a contender)

I think Swerve wins it, and Hangman probably beats him for it.
Adam Cole and Jay White seem like the kind of guys who could get in the mix, but may not necessarily do so this year. Adam Cole winning the TNT Title and MJF winning it off of him in their feud back feels doable.

Danielson hasn't gotten the world title yet, right? I wonder if this is gonna be the year

I wanna see Swerve win, but i’d like to see Joe go on a tear of dominant wins before that. Whoever beats Joe, it should be a huge deal.

I’m really far out of the loop due to us dropping cable and just generally not dedicating time to watching wrestling anymore but from a bird’s eye view, and just so we can say they held it, I’d really like to see:
- Darby. It seemed like early on in AEW he was one of the most over guys, and we can check that always-brought-up box of him being relatively “homegrown”.
- Eddie Kingston. He’s just awesome and I’d love to see him get the recognition.
- Malakai Black. From what I’ve read over the past forever, it seems like he may jump back to WWE when he can. I cannot believe that they didn’t build this guy up to one of the main singles acts. Mind boggling.
- How Danielson is seemingly going to get by without ever holding it since he never wants to win is a travesty to me. I suppose it says a lot about him as a team player but Lord have mercy.

I'm not a fan of frequent title changes with the big belt, tbh. Joe should at least get a few title defenses between now and Revolution, if he's losing it to Swerve there. I would then position Swerve as the big bad of the company for the rest of 2024, like strap that rocket to his back and make him the focal point of Dynamite. Cole doesn't need to win the title this year imo he and MJF can have a blood feud without the belt, while Swerve terrorizes the rest of the roster. Maybe by All Out, Swerve drops it to Hangman (six months or so), then Hangman loses it to Cole at Full Gear (2 months plus). I'm OK with Hangman losing it quickly, since he's had it once already. But when Cole wins it, he needs to be Champ until at least Double or Nothing 2025.

I think they can afford some shorter reigns, basically every one has been long-ish aside from those cut short by injury and we're coming off an over year long title reign. If they hot potato it a bit I'd love to see Eddie win it, maybe at Grand Slam. Think Swerve is a lock with either Ospreay or Hangman winning it from him. Interested to see what they do with Wardlow with Cole indicating he wants him to win it and had it over, not sure I see that one happening. Remain hopeful Tony can twist Danielson's arms into having a run with it too.

only person i see as a guarantee is Swerve and when he does win it, I'm not so sure he won't go on an even longer run than MJF. I could totally see it.
